The Final Bosman Show

enjoyed the nostalgia from the jet moto retrospective

also then i was at a wawa later and ended up buying some mountain dew -_____-
 
I love this show so very much. It's such a refresh, genuinely insightful look at the industry from a mind that hasn't become jaded or cynical like most of what you come across on the Internet.

Despite never having owned a Playstation system, I very much enjoyed the Jet Moto talk. It seems like an interesting game for its time, and I would have bought it straight away if I had access to PSN.

I'm real excited to see Kyle's Pokemon tournament coverage.
 
Chalk up another fun episode! Kyle's thoughts on nostalgia and game-preservation is pretty much how I feel in regards to next-gen. It sucks that they can't be backwards compatible (and I know, it's all about money and costs) but I guess I can see why it wasn't included. Hopefully Gaikai (and a similar service for Xbox?) can make up for it!

Also, did anyone catch Damiani's monitor? NeoGAF Dark represent! :D
too bad you're not a NeoGAF Gold member :P
 
Best show on the internet hands down. I laugh at every single episode, Kyle has real talent. He is a big dude too. Look at him compared to the other guests in the Bonus Round.

I agree with this. I like his perspective as a sort of non-journalist, journalist and he takes on topics the way a real fan of gaming would. At least in my opinion. It's great to see and his show adds a real diverse spectrum to the GT site.
 
I hate that every time I read his name I say Bose-man. It just seems like there should be a double "s" there. Sorry for the randomness.

Love the show though
 
Waitaminute...PS4 really can't play PSOne games? I find that hard to believe since the Vita plays them just fine and doesn't have PSOne hardware in it as far as I know.

That sorta stuff hasn't been confirmed either way yet, and yeah I'd agree, but Vita PS1 stuff got added oddly down the road when I'd have thought they'd have that stuff ready to go after through PS2, PS3 and PSP.

I don't think its fair to push the blame on sites for pushing the 54MHZ as big news, as MS definitely had a hand in that themselves and it wasn't just some innocent slip in comment as Kyle kinda made it out to be.

On the backwards compatibility thing, maybe its like a trilogy dealio with the PS3 being your go to box for PS1-thru-PS3 although 60gb models are death prone and not everything is on PSN PS2 Classics, while now is the age of the x86 console if we do see a PS5 and PS6 and they all play nice BC wise.

Its a shame Microsoft just sort of half arsed and jettisoned their Xbox 1 BC on X360 that was never fixed. JSRF in HD without massive slowdown is something I want, and I guess Sega will have to oblige with a Classics release. Also hoping one day I get to actually play Phantom Dust and Metal Wolf Chaos all the way through.

Neogaf Dark for the win. Really easy on the eyes in my opinion.

Anyway, fantastic episode. I was DYING at the end Xbox skit holy crap.

So does anyone know what game he is talking about with the flying dog where you tap on coins or whatever? I'm not even sure if it's real but if it is I want to see how stupid it is.
 
Can we have a new thread for every new Final Bosman episode? I always randomly find this one on the front page and have to scroll waaaay back to see all the episodes that I missed, and the OP is not updated anymore...

Nice Mini-Bosman (Hotel Edition!, dat intro), and wow what a fun video from the Pokemon World Championships! Kyle Bosman can basically do no wrong, in my book at least. He brings so much positive energy and comedic styling to everything he does, it's marvelous.

I eagerly anticipate the next installment of Poke-coverage.

If you're on desktop-GAF go to the top of this page and click on Subscribe -> Add Subscription. Voila, a new thread has been added to your Subscriptions! Just check it every once in a while and click on the NeoGAF logo to go to the first unread post in the thread. That's how I keep up with my various subbed threads.

If you're on mobile-GAF I think it's under Tools at the very bottom of the page. Same process though.
 
But Minibosman was clever :( Never was a fan of the offshoot shorter segments though. But does this mean full length prime episodes every week? Or just a name change?

Exactly, I'll miss it because it was a clever pun and the title card was cute. But I understand it's probably a branding thing, or perhaps viewership drops when it's labeled a "Minibosman", since some might feel those are less important episodes.
 
Love these things - I swear Kyle brings up every feeling I have about video games each week.
