Want.

Won't he do any more video where he plays a random unknown game from the GT library ? Those were fun (and interesting).

LOL when he's talking about how kids should wear whatever halloween costume they want and shows the kid zombie from The Walking Dead. No one wants to be that XD.

A little anecdote: a couple years ago I worked at a kindergarten. For halloween we had three kids out of seventy dress up as Mario. I'm pretty surprised so many kids know who he is. And they all know the song from SMB world 1-1 too. I don't know how these 4 and 5 year olds get their hands on that game.

They don't. He's simply a pop culture icon. Like how every child knows who Mickey Mouse is without ever seeing even one single Mickey Mouse cartoon.

His musings about the relationship between halloween and the nature of video games was actually really interesting, probably thread worthy actually.

I don't really understand why the PC is supposed to win all the time, but I will just take it as a throwaway joke.

So that was great.

Also it seems to me like the real Shuhei Yoshida got closer to his Battle Of The Band bully persona in the past few weeks than when he was first drawn by Kyle. Which is fascinating.

Because people that put the time and effort into PC get the highest benefits in the gaming world

Best deals, best variety, best performance (assuming you invested and are savvy) and many people can maintain rigs and play the newest games for longer and for less.

This isn't universal. Its all about the freedom of the platform. You get out what you put in.

The benefit of consoles is convenience and accessability that matter more than PC gamers are willing to admit. Not to mention the massive influence of console only software (like titles from japan).

Have you seen Titus Fallon?

I hear he is real good. Shame he will never play in my town :(

No way am I getting the bus all the way to the other town just to see one guy though.

aaaaaahhhh I didn't like it. I just want Kyle up there being charming and funny, not some really, really long, unfunny SNL skit.

To be honest, agree with you. I like Kyle when he's sitting at a desk and giving his opinion. The BOTB sketch is funny when it's a small part of an episode and I didn't really like it by itself. It was a rare miss for me but I'm sure he'll be great again next week.

So gooooood. I agree with the Titus Fallon view. I don't really think Sony is the bad guy. By that mentality, Nintendo are the underdog. Sometimes the underdog does lose, but gains something in the process and comes back stronger in the sequel. I sort of feel that Nintendo is the industry's Rocky (except they won the first fight) in that they get beat and come back stronger. They might end up punch drunk in the end though.

And Yoshida's jabs are classic.
