The Final Bosman Show

The best thing about the MGS2 demo is that is was the biggest part of the elaborate bait-and-switch that the game is most famous for. I'm not sure if we could still do something like that any more with how connected the world is and how often stuff leaks.

My personal greatest demo of all time:

Biohazard 4. This game was:

1. My first Japanese import game
2. My first INTERNET PURCHASE (begged my dad to let me use his credit card)

I also purchased a Gamecube Action Replay in order to play import discs. That's a lot of work for a demo, huh?

Well, it was fucking worth it. It consisted of arguably the best part of one of the greatest games of all time (the intro/village sequence of Resident Evil 4). I must have played through that demo at least 50 times. If you collected 30,000 ptas (not easy), you unlocked an Uzi, which was AWESOME. I used action replay codes to turn off the timer, and I'd just run around the empty village looking at stuff.

So, so good.

You stole my memories. First "game" I ever imported and I bought an GCN Action Replay just for it. I must've put at least 30 hours into that demo. Crazy part was that it and the final game actually lived up to the hype.

The other great demo that comes to mind is the THPS2 demo on PS1. I would zone out and day dream while I skated around Marseille. Lord only knows how much time I spent playing that demo.

Didn't watch last weeks episode so had two in row now, so good stuff, great themes and of course entertainment.
The Sonic SEGA Boss saying 'What?! Make sure this never happens again.' seriously cracked me up, fabulous.

I don't think this was leaked, I had NO idea (last of us spoilers ahead)
that you'd play as Joel's daughter in the intro scene and later in the game you play as Ellie
. So I guess it can still happen from time to time. But definitely harder than MGS2 days. I agree with you there.

Ain't no party like a Bosman party.

RE5 stands out to me. It had me really excited for the full version because while it was definitely action-heavy, it still was frantic and a bit creepy. Plus, the graphics were amazing.

I wish Capcom could make a full RE game that made me feel like I did playing the RE5 demo.

His latest video on Demos was awesome. I actually bought Zone of Enders without knowing it had the demo. But that made its "specialability" stand out for me. I remember being so surprised and happy about playing the Demo for the first time.

On a side note, Kyle has really stepped up his hosting game. He was great in the new The Depths for GTA V.

Also I always love his party gifs.

Another great episode. Love the refreshing restraint and honesty he shows with every episode.

Keep up the great work, Kyle.

Holy sit. When the episode was over at the half mark point of the video. I always look how much time is left for the bonus bits. x) I luv em.

That was fantastic. Although blowing the rewards for Lego Marvel and 3D World without warning was a bit much, even for an episode about game secrets.

I'm kind of wondering if the Gears of War comment was a tease or not. Now I'm interested in what he has/had to say on the matter.

I want to know the name of the song that plays in the background in the episode that sounds like bells are ringing. Sounds vaguely christmasy as well.

It's been in a few episodes.
