Hmm, 8 Central might be tricky, I was supposed to get together with a group for a bio project today (sunday), but they never called, and we still have a fair bit left, and it's due Tuesday evening.

I honestly think this first tourney needs to be completely scraped and started fresh from the beginning. Getting eight people from many timezones online at once is proving to be really difficult.

I think we just need to get people enough time in advance. Annouce a date 2 weeks early and who can't make it waits for the next one.

So annouce a date and allow one week for sign-up. Then take the next week to make teams.

10 EST is 9 CST. I would be all for pushing back an hour though since I have rehearsal till 9:30 CST. So my vote would be 11 EST.

10pm EST is 3am GMT. That spells a very late night for me. Can't we do 8 or 9pm instead? There have to be compromises people!

Well, I can see when my bio group wants to meet, and I'll post again in 3 hours or so. I could do it relatively early like 5 or 6 central, but I don't know about Trasher, Ians, or Team 3.

As far as I know, no one is even trying to plan the T4 v T6 game. Not sure if that qualifies as trouble or just laziness.

Agreed, maybe it's just my distaste for smaller matches (and the whoring of power weapons that they inevitably create) but I like the idea of having, say, 6 on a team and scheduling 4 v 4 matches. If on the off-chance that everyone on a team is available, one or two members could switch out from one game to the next.


As for the T4 v T6 game, wanna shoot for Wednesday night. Just throwing that day out there because I'm pretty much available whenever.

The problem with that would be if someone did show up, say, 6 on one team, and 5 on the other, what about that sixth guy, who really likes playing? And who's going to decide who gets kicked out?

If a team had one more player then the other team, a member of the larger team would have to sit out one of the games and be rotated in. If the members of said team are too childish to volunteer one at a time, then I suppose it would be chosen at random each time.

It's not a perfect solution, but I bet anyone would agree it's better then not playing at all (the current setup). I just want to play these games, see the vids of the other games, etc. It doesn't have to be this hard.

I was just throwing that day out, if things would be better for everyone on another day, that's fine with me.

I think what we need to do is all post the times we'll be available this week. I'll start.

Tuesday: after 8 PST
Wed: after 4 PST
Thur: after 5 PST
Fri: after 5 PST

Given the proper heads up, those times will work for me.

I suggest all teams do this if we're ever going to get this tourney done.

I can also play after I get out of work, but that varies, so it'll be a long shot. The weekends should be a bit more open for me, though, especially Sundays.

Also, if you can get on a half hour earlier or more that would be great because I know there are a couple people who need to be somewhere not too long at around 10ish. The earlier the better! Like if we see that we are all on at 8 then we can just do it then or something.

If 4v4 cannot happen between the teams, then 3v3 is to be played. If one team has 4 show up and the other 2, then you all can pick to give the other team your extra guy.

Tis the only way I see this happening.
