Done. I'll be there.Deepblue said:Let's try 5PM EST. Does that work for everyone?
Yep.Deepblue said:Let's try 5PM EST. Does that work for everyone?
Ramirez said:If everyone could get on at 1, I could do it then. I do have to work this Sat. though, my schedule got changed. =\ Don't have to be in til 5 though, so I could do the 1 est thing.
fin said:Team 5 should be good to go! See you guys tomorrow!
2pm PST right? I'll be there. Send pms & XBL messages via Xbox.com to all the slackers on your team.Jack Scofield said:Teams 4 and 6 are scheduled for tomorrow, but it's a bit disconcerting that I'm the only one from team 6 to confirm the time. I'll still show up, but who knows if we'll even have enough people?
Jack Scofield said:Yeah, 2PM PST. I've sent out PMs to my team, but I can't guarantee they'll even read them (or this thread) in time. I guess we'll just have to wait and find out.
I don't regularly check this thread, but I think that PM's through the 360 work better. Scheduling this thing is pretty hard. How about we do it tomorrow around 3:00 PM PST?Ramirez said:I have two guys from my team that have not posted in here, so please don't bother waking up, it will be a waste.
Dani said:Team 6! Winrar is us. Etc.
Trasher said:So what teams still have to play?
Dani said:Does anyone have the saved films of the Team 6 games?
Deepblue said:Good games all in all, though I vote we use straight up crazy king rather than GAF king in future matches.
Jack Scofield said:Hopefully someone can create a write-up like in the Humpday Challenges. I'm definitely not the person for that.
Long story short: We tied 2-2 on High Ground, so we decided to use the next two games as tie-breakers. Team 6 won KOTH on Narrows, while team 4 beat us in a straight-up Slayer match on Guardian. Since we considered the High Ground match a win for both teams, both of use were now 2-1, so we needed one more tie-breaker.
squatingyeti said:I think it makes sense going forward though, don't you guys? If people start playing one flag to a win, it isn't done for both rounds, unless neither team scores, or both teams score during the 1st wave. It should be college football rules. Each team gets a chance at offense. If the score is still tied, continue playing until one team scores and the other doesn't. If the team that was defense first, scores first, they win. The offense already had their shot.
Example:
One flag is played and both teams score 1 capture. Overtime is played.
Blue is offense/Red is defense in overtime. These results could happen:
Blue scores, Red has their offensive round to score or they lose.
Blue does not score, Red scores, Blue loses.
Neither team scores, continue playing following above guidelines.
I for one, think going forward, that is a better idea than having a tie.
Ramirez said:I honestly do not see the 1/5 matchup happening, between timezones and a few who just flat out do not check often enough. I might just make one team out of the two with the people have actively tried to get the match done or something.
