I doubt he's Barry, but this isn't proper explanation why he isn't. In many time travel stories this doesn't happen. The changes you make in modern world ripple towards the future, but change only happens in that future. Time traveler from the future that exist in the modern world would be protected from that. The world he camed from would no longer exist, but he would. This method allows you to avoid paradoxes.

Eobard Thawne wanted to be Barry. He even had cosmetic surgery to make himself look like Barry. Any similarities between Wells and Barry actually further support Wells being Thawne.

Constantine got the character and mythos just right, but I cannot stand its lowest common denominator-tier of procedural storytelling.
It is hurting it. Which is a shame, because it's the best written show otherwise out of DC tv series. Nobody every does stupid shit in there just for the sake of drama and plot. And nothing is ever sorted out as neatly as in Arrow or Flash. But it feels like they keep hitting the procedural wall there. Which isn't bad in itself. Hellblazer was procedural. But it also had strong ongoing arcs. Stuffing the into each episode as well as doing two-three parters more often would do wonders for Constantine. Later in the season this trend started to be visible and I think if it went into S2, even on NBC, it could finally start to work like it's supposed to.

Was it ever mentioned why the professor was at STAR Labs with the Firestorm gadget when the particle accelerator was activated? I can't remember anything being stated about it during the episode.

Also how did Wells get away with using a bit of tech that Reverse Flash stole without anyone noticing for the quantum whatsit to try to save Firestorm?

It was mentioned before that Stein went to see someone (a friend?) about funding for the project. I imagine that person was Wells. But panhandling during the day they're switching on the accelerator seems like an odd decision.

Same way Cold was able to get his gun... STAR is short-staffed and no one is doing inventory... Wells can disclaim the tech as something they had that just wasn't cataloged.

I'd like to believe it'll come up at some point.

I'd like to.

It most likely will. They've been good on touching base with previous exploits characters have done.

So far I'm loving this series. Caught up last week and was just a breath of fresh air in terms of comic book TV shows. The writing is amazing, characters are perfect and the special effects aren't too cheesey but just enough cheese.

New episode today:
Season 1: episode 14 "Fallout"

After the nuclear explosion separates Ronnie and Dr. Stein, Barry and the team believe both men are safe. Caitlin is thrilled to have her fiancé back and prepares to resume their life together while Dr. Stein returns to his wife. However, when General Eiling targets Firestorm, Ronnie and Dr. Stein must decide if they are safer together or apart. Meanwhile, Mason Bridge tells Iris that there is something secretive going on at S.T.A.R. Labs and Dr. Stein gives Barry some important information about time travel.

I hate breaks. It solves nothing.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Solves nothing? There are X number of episodes for a broadcast show and X+Y number of weeks in the season. Breaks are inevitable and perfectly fine. It's not like there isn't tons of other stuff to watch on Tuesdays.

I know I'm late to the party here but I just let me finish... first of all season 1 of the flash is pooping all over all 3 seasons of the arrow... Secondly he should get with linda because she's so goddamn fine from behind. Lastly, he started vibrating when macking on her which is understandable, but what happens if he's tapping it and that happens? Wouldn't that cause the worst friction burns in the world, I mean I know she likes it spicy but that might be too much?

I didn't forget, today!!
Knew a break was coming, but yeah at least it's only a couple weeks, gives the VFX guys more time to work.
More Flash... when AoS premiers? And into the AoS season? SHIT! Delay it a month after it comes back!
