Yeah, but he didn't even know that Cisco and Joe were investigating. And now neither does Caitlin. As for Iris, he's going to stop Weather Wizard before it happens, so he won't be in the scenario to reveal himself to Iris.

If we're being 100% honest though, I knew from that scene where the clock prominently flipped from 9:59 to 10:00 that it would have to be re-visited at some point. It's too classic a time travel trope for it to not be. Didn't think it would be Barry though!

Based on the preview, I'm going to guess that it looks like him going back in time
makes it so Captain Cold kills the coroner instead of Weather Wizard, which fucks up everything.
Based off of his speech he wants to go home.

We got the motivation behind him helping Barry, but not the murder.

I thought he wanted to harness The Flash's speed to time travel back to his time, which apparently, is several centuries in to the future.
Truth be told I hated most of the episode but that continuity and really dragged it back from the tar pit I call the Iris love triangle.

You know what? You're right. We have no idea why he wanted to come back and kill Barry.
So Wells and Eddie are related? If somebody kills Eddie will Wells even exist? Time travel makes my head hurt...
Watch it being something like Barry stealing Iris from his father/grandfather/whatever relation Eddie is to Wells
Wells is outside of the time stream, so if Eddie dies he would not be affected.

when I saw Eddies last name, it was pretty easy to figure out he had some connection to reverse somehow. Just knowing the lore of flash I mean.

I still am in shock at the pace this show moves at. We had as many reveals tonight as a normal show has in a whole season, and that was just this episode.

I love that Wells mastered the One Pattern.
You have to remember that we're already in a post time travel time line from the incident 15 years ago. It's possible in the original timeline that Barry got his powers in a freak accident lightning strike, like his original comic origin.
Doesn't explain why Wells wanted him dead (other than his previous comments that they'd fought many times before, perhaps it was simple revenge), but in any case it looks like his suit's powers seem to depend on borrowing or siphoning the speed force, which requires Barry being The Flash. He's stuck in this time until Barry gets fast enough to time travel.

My brother LOVES SHIELD and I just don't get it. Which is weird, because I love the Marvel movies with a burning passion. Agent Carter was legit fantastic, but Shield is just not very good, although seeing the headlines about Inhumans and stuff in the show almost makes me want to watch it just for that.
