I like that a corporate merger makes the same front page as the apocalypse.

Maybe it's part of the apocalypse. Kind of like how Google and Apple merging would be the apocalypse for some people!

I thought he was charging the suit with speedforce somehow.

But then the thing he stole would still be attached to it.

I mean, it doesn't really matter if the yellow suit is on display all the time. It's just a little silly and I liked the effect and how it was stored inside the ring. Seeing how it's probably the "reverse" suit of Future Barry, it probably implies that Current Barry gets a similar ring and doesn't have to carry the suit in the bag around anymore.

Yo so according to that comic panel
there IS a Justice League in this world? Legit. I wonder if it is going to be incredibly different from the one we know. Supergirl-Flash-Green Arrow as founding members?

There's a
Justice SOMETHING, probably a Society instead of League
.

No, there's one in the world where the future Flash comes from which is very clearly supposed to be a pre-crisis comic book world, which is why the dead parents backstory isn't a thing there.

Speaking of NPH, he'd make a terrific young Eobard if the time travel stuff got that whacky. Slap a tiny bit of makeup on him and he still looks 30.

Edit: and does CW still have TV rights over young Clark Kent? Ya never know.

WB owns half of the CW (the other half being CBS) so technically, they have the TV rights for everything DC. The question you should be asking is if WB wants any form of Clark Kent on the small screen.

I am not a native english, so I was embarassed to ask this, but what the hell...

"Flash Missing Vanishes in crisis"

This sentence makes no sense to me. Is it supposed to be read like this:
Flash missing, vanishes in crisis?
If not, I am lost. And in crisis.... is it one of the crisis events, or is his disappearence the crisis itself? :D

Help me out :P

It's supposed to be read with the comma, but hey, ink is money. Also, it's probably Crisis with a Capital C, what with the red sky stuff.

Yeah, there definitely should be a pause in there between missing and vanishes. I take it to mean that the Flash is missing and that he vanished during a crisis.

Should have been a smaller font for the second line

Sort of like
Flash Missing!
Vanishes in crisis

A headline then a sub-header to give a better idea of the story

You have the right conclusion but the wrong reasoning.

WB has the rights to DC but CW being half owned by them doesn't mean The CW just *gets* the rights. This should be obvious since Gotham is on Fox, Supergirl on CBS, and Teen Titans planned for TBS or TNT (can't recall which specifically atm).

WB, like most studios, will pitch and sell the shows to whatever network wants them and is willing to pay more for them.

Sorry, I meant that the CW technically has the rights to use anyone associated with DC, not that they have exclusive rights on everything DC.

I think I get your meaning but it's still worded a little funky. The Flash and Arrow can request to use any character from DC but so can any of the other DC shows, regardless of the network they air on because the shows are WB produced. The networks themselves can't do that though. What the networks do have a bit of control over though is crossover between characters on shows from another network. Which is why the CBS Pres has said they want Supergirl to themselves for a bit before they'd allow a crossover with Arrow/Flash.

The CW does not have the rights to anything DC.
They simply order and buy shows from studios, in this case Warner's TV studios.

Holy guacamole.

I wonder if
good guy Eddie will kill himself in order to somehow stop Eobard from even being born?

I really like eddie so I hope that's not it but I'm not really sure at this point what else could be done to stop him. Still it's crazy having two thawne's in the same scene together. I do wonder if the time Eddie spends with Eobard will darken his hear

Well, he doesn't have to kill himself. He can just shoot his balls off

I highly doubt that any resolution to the Reverse Flash would involve killing or permanently removing Tom Cavanagh because he's practically the lead actor and the 1st or 2nd biggest name in their cast. The most likely resolution is that he gets imprisoned just like the other metas, they'll probably find a way to nullify his powers and this way he still gets dialogue and scenes.

I see it as a two-edged sword. I think they introduced the body swapper device so they had an ass-pull if they wanted to keep Tom Cavanaghn on the team (also, they showed him fondling it in his wheel-chair when he was talking to Barry, so its definitely going to come up again). IMO he's the mvp on the team, his dramatic scenes really land and if he goes "rogue" you're looking at only a couple of scenes every few episodes with Tom C which would be a bummer. On the other hand if they go that route, they effectively remove Tom Cavanaghns performance from the lexicon of villainy. The "new" Eobard will be remembered as the Reverse Flash, and that seems a bit of a disservice considering how two-faced and subtle he's played the character. It'd be sad if someone else is remembered as the main reverse flash when season 2 gets up and running. To be honest i'm not sure which is the better option.

Watched the first two episodes. Wow this show is great. They nailed the costume and feel of flash so far. I can't wait to catch up now.

They way these guys keep putting out trailers and promos you can just feel the confidence they have in their show. It's like they know they have something amazing and have no problem hyping it up like they are. They know they can show us bits of all this stuff in the trailers because they have all this other exciting stuff we haven't seen at all yet.
