I don't think they're actually going to do flashpoint but if they do I think it'll be a small scale one episode thing. For instance we've heard from Danielle Panabaker that we might see killer frost sooner rather than later implying we'll see her this season. Maybe we see her in some Flashpoint version of the timeline. If it happens I guess we get a quick look at how bad things can get then he reverses it.

I don't take names at face value. They're totally going to write movie Barry as Wally (if it ends up being Barry) and I'm sure they'll take traits from Kyle and Hal for John. Arrow is more like Batman than Oliver.

more or less. movie flash is totally gonna be moreso like wally. even if his name was jay garrick.

How can Sisco make all this tech by himself in a day or less by himself

I was confused why Victor Zsasz was in flash then it hit me
The actor who plays the gas guy villain is Victor Zsasz in Gotham

Ollie left League to help Barry then goes back to his unconscious friends?

i'm just assuming this episode happened prior to last week's arrow.

Got off work and finally finished the episode. Random thoughts from the viewing:

Of course Snart would play Cold as Ice on the jukebox.

Snart continues to be so cheesetacularly awesome. Just the right amount of camp, sliminess, and swag. I love it.

Doug Jones continues to look like Peter Capaldi's brother in this.

Cisco melting the panties is awesome.

COSTUME RING!

And I love the speedster fights. Blake Neely's awesome music coupled with the visuals just makes it so awesome. I love how most of the time it is just the blurs and streaks, leaving a lot to our imagination, and then occasionally giving us the slow mo shot of how the fight is going. Such a great way to get around the budget, and it works beautifully.

The season finale better fucking deliver. I don't want a Heroes S1 situation on our hands where you have an awesome build up and then it all falls apart in the final episode.

Oh, and Eddie being a champ this episode. Finally admitting to himself that he always knew Barry was part of the relationship and knowing he was in denial the whole time.
I really hope Barry and Eddie can stay friends though, because Eddie is awesome.

Awesome line from AV Club's review:
Wentworth Miller serves up another satisfying helping of his expertly cured brand of ham, wringing every drop of juice out of a line like “I’m a criminal and a liar and I hurt people and I rob them.”

Expertly cured brand of ham. Perfect way to describe Captain Cold on this show.

THIS SHOW

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

While entertaining enough, this felt more like a backdoor pilot than what it should have been, focusing on Wells. In fact, the final battle with him was short and disappointing, especially given the big metahuman battle earlier on. Barry's entire plan was ill-conceived from the beginning and while his heart was in the right place, his naivete will likely end up with innocents getting killed now that the metahumans are free. I hope this ends up biting him in the ass, and hard.

when i realized what song captain cold was playing on the jukebox i burst out laughing. hopefully they make it a recurring theme with him.

next time: ice ice baby

Is it me or
Ollie appearing makes no sense? Wasn't he getting married and his friends "dying" in that chamber. Did he go like "Yo, Ras BRB gonna help Barry"
or maybe Im overthinking xD
Great episode tho.

This episode most likely took place during episode 21 of Arrow, the one where Oliver went back to Starling to retrieve Nyssa.

I think it's important to remember that Arrow had a time jump while Flash apparently has not. Remember,
once Ollie joined the League he was chained and "brainwashed" with them for three weeks. As far as we know Flash has not had a three week time jump forward.

Why is Green Arrow dressed like some weird ninja in this episode?

If you've been watching Arrow you'd know.

Didn't enjoy how rushed that last fight was and I'm really not expecting much out of the cross-over show they're planning.

*The Legends of Tomorrow hop into Rip Hunter's time transport machine. Somehow, Capt. Cold grabs the aux cord.* "Let's do something to relieve the tension in here."

*A Winter's Tale by Queen starts playing*

Ray: You are really committed to this gimmick, huh?

It's almost like this isn't the last episode and there is more stuff to resolve between Wells and Barry.

Now it makes sense, totally forgot about the time skip. Thanks for the clarification!

Are people serious when they praise Wentworth? Feels like I'm in the twilight zone when reading these comments.

I enjoy good ham as much as the next person, but to me it's poorly executed.

Makes my friend and I cringe whenever he's on.

I praised him a lot, but also recognize just how cheesy he is in the role. But, it fits perfectly with the show and the character. At least to me.

Yeah completely serious he's awesome as Captain Cold. He's hamming it up and having a good time and it shows. Captain Cold is probably my favorite villain on the show outside of Wells.

just remember that the actor isn't just playing a character....

he's playing a character playing a character

Actually I think this is right. He's hammed it up the whole time but I noticed he's a little bit more subtle in his first appearance before becoming captain cold. Now that he's got a cold gun and a super villain name he's going to have fun going full blown ham.

The show is enjoyable but the camp is really strong.

The end fight was good but there was too much stupid in this episode.

Barry - "I hacked the police, ARGUS and the FBI and then sent a virus that wiped out all your records from every computer in the world"

Of course you did Barry.

There is obviously a deleted scene where they called Felicity to write the code to put on that flash drive.

Yep.

He starts off pretending he's DeNiro from Heat. Then when he gets the cold gun he decides to be Ahnuld from Batman & Robin. He's playing a role. It's why him and Heatwave amuses me - they're two friends goofing off and having the time of their lives making bad puns.

Great episode tho.

Today's episode did last a few days. Cisco
kept mentioning that the accelerator would take time to fully charge. My theory was that Ollie was at Nanda Parbat during the prisoner transport, but Barry was able to contact him some time after that incident fell apart. I think tomorrow's episode will clarify how it happened, hopefully bringing up how Palmer was able to make a light arrow to beat Ganon...er...Reverse Flash.
