That was fantastic, Barry constantly friendzoning himself asides. Hell, Iris tried so goddamn hard to make him work with Felicity, but nope, he wasn't having any of it.

Miller was fantastic as Captain Cold. CW casting nailed it again. Love he became such a legitimate threat so quickly.

Also, Harrison Wells being ominous and menacing are usually my favorite bits of the episodes, so, I was kinda looking forward to another creepy stinger from him. But I guess him being enraged at Cisco was enough. You know what, Cisco had a point... but he shouldn't have kept it hidden after he and Barry became friends.

The humor was really on point this episode. Also, love Danielle Panabaker.

Hope we get more appearances from Felicity, she really works here.

CGI in the train was great!

Was that actually Dominic Purcell's voice at the end?

Best part of the episode apart from Felicity's dress was Snart's smirk when Cisco called him Captain Cold.

Yeah! Someone needs to GIF that. It was clear he got a kick out of it.

Is it too soon for Felicity cosplay?

I wished they would have hinted that Cisco built the gun. It suddenly popping up, without a previous mention, came off as really awkward to me. Like around what time did he build it?

Definitely the best review of this episode.

The Flash Needs To Clone Felicity Smoak Like, Yesterday

Couldn't agree more.

Agree with that point, but I *love* that Cisco makes up the villains' names. It delights me every time.

Still want to know how a guy who's faster than human reactions is even threatened by a regular person who has to aim his weapon

Roll with it. Flash is too fast to make science-fiction type sense to begin with. Just allow that his speed is inconsistent.

To be fair, he wasn't aiming at The Flash most of the time.. so it seems like Flash was weighing the lives of others against stopping Snart.

Another fantastic episode.

Really liked Captain Cold and that he's still at large. Makes a nice change from the villains either dying or being imprisoned. And he knows about Barry's crew!

Effects are still looking good. The train scene in particular was impressive, I feel like I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop as happened in Smallville though, but I'm enjoying it while it lasts and I hope it lasts for at least the rest of this season and hopefully beyond.

Disappointed at the lack of Wells stinger.

And I was talking to friend about this earlier, what are the chances the show might lead into Flashpoint Paradox? Budget probably wouldn't allow for it, but it would be pretty cool to see it happen...

The showverse is completely different to the movieverse, so there shouldn't be anything to stop them from featuring characters like WW, Aquaman, etc.

Probably the best episode so far, or rather the only one I really enjoyed.
Good pacing, good enough villain, Felicity, less of the annoying Star Lab twosome.

It is funny just how overdressed Felicity was for that Quiz, especially for someone that looked like it was on during the afternoon.

Great episode, Cold was pretty much perfect and the tease to the build up of the Rogues was great. The lack of a Wells stinger was a bummer, but what can you do. This was the best episode yet.

Really just a great episode. It contained all the cheesy corn that I liked of the previous 3 but also had an air of legitimate threat brought by Cold.

I like how they didn't try to really explain the gun. Just "it does absolute zero, deal with it audience" and never looked back (except to track the gun). Wentworth nailed the character as the lovable super dangerous possible psychopath with a propensity to NOT kill. (Even if that guard bit it).

And even if Wells didn't stand up, he at least took of his glasses so he could get him a better look at Felicity. So we know that, while maybe evil, he's at least still human.

Edit: Oh! And Heatwave! I was nerding a bit too freaking hard at the genesis of the Rogues someone needed to be there for me but the SO just encouraged it.

Wow, this is one helluva awesome episode. Captain Cold origins + Felicity guest. Felicity is really great in The Flash. She and Barry have some actual chemistry. I hope Felicity comes over to Central City more often. This series already misses her!

That mid-train wreck rescue scene was amazing. I like how Captain Cold says it was "educational" going up against The Flash. First encounter, he knows The Flash is a man. Second encounter, he finds out The Flash's weakness. Third encounter, he's already gotten The Flash beat. Just how awesome is this villain?

Let's see how Heatwave turns out.

That was excellent.
Is it bad if I even loved the relationship dialogues? I mean, the cast was just great here.
Can't wait for the next crossover.

For the next several episodes, all Wells stingers shall be replaced with teasers of more Rogues.

Eh... I need my OMINOUS WELLS STINGERS... but I guess that's acceptable.

Captain Cold is baller as fuck.

Didn't really care for this episode tbh. Captain Cold was eh. The CGI for the cold gun was awful. Plus it just didn't make sense. Police are looking for this Snart dude all episode, they know he's going to keep going after the museum diamond or whatever (and Joe admits as much), yet they don't have anyone watching the museum the first time Snart strolls in. Then just before breaking into the museum for the second time, the henchman says the museum would have be crawling with guards, but I guess that's not true at all since the museum has absolutely no security whatsoever, and so Snart just strolls into the museum in the middle of the night and walks up to the diamond I guess.

Then Barry and captain cold have the whole scuffle and apparently the police still haven't shown up to the Museum that must not have any alarms, any security officers, any cameras, or any police officers for blocks (again, even though an attempted robbery took place earlier and was expected). So, Mr. Cold dude just walks off, nothing happens, just an episode with some Felicity eye candy and love drama. Episode reminded me too much of Smallville--stuffed with 20 minutes of love drama, 15 minutes of filler, a bit of cheesy dialogue, lots of plot holes, and then at the end, the reset button is hit and you realize nothing actually happened.

I don't know, been a fan of the show so far, and normally I can turn off my brain for the cheesy dialogue and the CW "this doesn't make any sense whatsoever" moments, but I just couldn't this time around. Hoping the next episode is better.
