I'm seriously impressed with what they did with Capt Cold. I love the Rogues, but I admit they're pretty silly. I was always worried how they'd pull them off in live action, and Cold has me looking forward to the others.

I can't wait for the Supergirl show to see Felicity throw herself at her.

Nah man. She gon try getting at my boy Jimmy Olsen. Sadly, he's gonna be like "I just want Kara-senpai to notice me.

and fuck calling him the streak, oh man didn't ollie already give him the idea for the flash name? start blogging it and get it out there.

I think they're saving calling him The Flash for when he starts to let people actually see him. You know, that whole inspiring people bit Ollie was talking about.

I'm guessing he'll be known as The Flash by the end of the season if not sooner. He already likes the name and Wells is also aware of it, and something tells me it's gonna catch on.

They already know how people hated Smallville and Arrow's teasing of the true name.

Also I want the fucking soundtrack to this show already! I don't want to have to wait until the end of the first season!

Yeah I would like to see her again on the show but I doubt it will happen too often since if she's filming for The Flash she wont be able to film for Arrow.
The shows film in the same city and are done by the same company and producers, it wouldn't be hard to coordinate the shooting schedules, Felicity's part isn't so big that she has to be on set every day, Arrow gets her from monday to wednesday and Flash on thursday and friday in weeks she appears in both shows for example. Some of her appearances on Flash could even be phone or video calls, those can be filmed on the Arrow set between other scenes.

Miss my Ed stinger though, those make my week. Kinda expected a scene showing he was actually responsible for the gun going missing.
That wouldn't have made sense, he has murdered to protect Barry (for whatever reason), there's no way at this point he'd risk a criminal having a weapon that could weaken and actually kill Barry and would have done that if it wasn't for Cisco's vacuum cleaner bluff.

Was a great ep this week and they seem to have learnt from Arrow how not to do things but I think it helps that the flash is more fun/ light hearted than the arrow (which is more dark).

That was a great episode and fun to watch. Definitely the best so far. It would be great if they would write Iris out, but I suppose she's needed for the drama or something. And while Felicity and Barry were absolutely great, I disagree that she needs to be that often on the show. It was fun to watch them, but I don't think it's something I could watch that many times. It would get tiring and annoying pretty quickly.

After watching Arrow and The Flash back to back for the first time, I have to say that I'm glad both shows exist. I wasn't really excited when I heard that they're going to make a Flash TV series, because I thought it would get too superhero-y and cheesy (like Smallville) and the SFX wouldn't be up to it, but I really like the show (currently even more than Arrow). It's also great the tone in The Flash is a bit more lighthearted than Arrow and not everyone is so dark and brooding and mopey and not every female character screams "shut up, I need to be upset right now, because DRAMA!".

I hope they can keep the shows like that.

Just not oliver

I just can't buy Felicity being that into Oliver. Like sure I get that she might find him really physically attractive (because even as a straight dude I can admit he's quite a looker) but she seems to intelligent to let that be her only deciding factor.

Barry is kind of dumb nerd so I can see him not seeing past Iris. He almost let go at the end there, almost.

Attraction isn't rational.

Can someone gif the scene at the trivia "night" (which was bright day wtf?) where Iris and Eddie kiss and Felicity looks at Barry and like, licks her lips?

I think it's suppose to be the summer or early fall. Only explanation that makes sense.

Crazy theory time! How to make the inevitable *not* creepy!

I'm spoiler tagging, since it's based on comics knowledge.

So...

In the comics, Professor Zoom aka Eobard Thawne, has theis weird obsession with stealing Flash's life/wife out from under him. He tries to impersonate him on his wedding day, for instance.

What if Eddie *is* Eobard, and is doing just that? As well as having killed Barry's mom? And somehow Barry gets wind of this and tries to go back and stop him, still failing, but at least in such a way that his dad doesn't get blamed? He's still inspired to chase after the weirdness thanks to what happened, but he doesn't have to be raised in the West household, Iris doesn't see him as a brother, and they end up in a non-creepy relationship? That they would have had if Thawne hadn't come back to meddle in the first place?

I'm always wrong when I get onto an idea like this, but hey...

I watch this show with my dad, he knows nothing about the comics lore or the casting but loves these comic book/sci fi shows. As soon as Ronnie walked into the particle accelerator he called that
he would survive the explosion and become a metahuman, probably a bad guy
.

Yeah,
he was transported to another reality, memory wiped and was classified as a Tomorrow People.
