I have to say Grant Gustin is a great actor. No comparison war here--I like Arrow better but Amell doesn't even come close to Gustin's range.

Between the adults and grant the acting shits on arrow, the show does too tbh but I still enjoy arrow

This episode was great. After that prison talk it made me really hate reverse flash. The shit he did to Barry allen's life

So glad he finally told iris too. And those fights were dope

Problem with flashpoint is Supergirl is on CBS next fall and has the same crew as Arrow and Flash and could very well likely take place in Arrowverse. The writers even have hinted at it. Flash Point would have to mess with that too if it isn't this season.

Flashpoint could theoretically introduce Supergirl somehow?

I am 100% on board with this. Have it span all 3 shows, maybe give an extended "last time on" segment.

I love Detective West. Cheesy but real nice moment at the end there.

So...

Reverse flash is Wells from the future, coming back to present, and working together with present Wells?

I was so uneasy during the scenes meant to be a denouement between Barry & Joe and then with the family... I kept expecting Reverse Flash to make good on his threat making Joe's words his last or turning Christmas into a horror show.

You weren't the only one.
As he put the angel on the tree I expected a blur to rush through the house and Joe falling dead on the ground D:

Was about 15 minutes behind and just wrapped up.

That motherfucker Wells. I don't know if he was actually there, or if somehow had the ability to make a Reverse Flash clone. Why was he so interested in the ability to siphon speed then?

The fights were great. Loved it, Reverse Flash was so damn menacing.

Do enlighten us!

He has the ability to change any inorganic matter into anything else of equal mass. Can turn a brick into gold for example. And his changes are permanent, so it's not like Green Lantern. Also has super strength and can pass through solid objects. He can also sustain himself forever, never needing food, water, or air. And he can shapeshift.

How else does he make a speed force suit in the future except to drain the speed force from the Flash?

Btw, was it just me or was Grant Gustin really selling his frustration after the first fight?

"His speed is BEYOND me!!! I'm not the fastest man alive! He is!!"

That's....pretty damn ridiculous.

Don't forget about the possibility of TNT's Titans!

Oh, oh! Circular time loop!

Original timeline: Wells sabotages force field, travels back in time

Show timeline: Reverse Flash Wells does his thing, is able to escape force field because he already sabotaged the field

That's the vibe I'm getting. Reverse Flash isn't Wells from 2024. As we saw, he already has the suit now.

This show is leaps and bounds better than the third season of Arrow in terms of quality so far.

I've enjoyed everything about this show so far.

Amazing episode. Though I can't wait for firestorm to ditch the wig. I enjoy this more than arrow this year and I love arrow.

So he's the greatest villian ever?

Amell has fantastic range, he just doesn't get to demonstrate it much over the course of a scene. Compare modern day Ollie to pre-Island Ollie to Flashback Ollie, he plays them like they're totally different people and damned if it doesn't work.

You're right that he does not get the chance to demonstrate his range, but even then I feel Gustin is just a natural. Pleasantly surprised. Not saying Amell is bad. He's the lead actor on my favorite CW show. If he was bad I wouldn't be watching.

Seeing how they killed it with Reverse Flash (seriously he destroyed it everytime he was on-screen). I'm very confident they are going to do Grodd justice.

How will Supergirl tie in if they're on different networks? Does CBS own CW?

WB produces all 3 shows themselves including the CBS Supergirl. CBS is just airing it. Not to mention CBS owns half of CW.

Greg Berlanti's production company is behind all 3 shows as well.

Isnt Warner owner of a lot of tv networks including HBO?

Yes, they don't own CBS though. They have a good relationship with them. As stated before they co-own CW with CBS and WB has a lot of shows that air on CBS. Supergirl being on CBS isn't going to stop Ollie and Barry from stopping by.
