About the season trailer



The trailer on this page basically shows everything coming this season. Barry confronts Wells, and he is still revealed as RF. I think he even approaches him with a gun. Maybe the bullets made by Cisco? Maybe Barry doesn't have his powers in that scene? I'm pretty sure RF can dodge bullets, even when shot by another speedster. And I doubt Barry would kill Wells or anyone purposely. Unless Wells goes to prison and kills Barry's dad. Then no holds barred

Cisco is still alive, meets black canary.

Flash learns about the time traveling,

Eddie kills two cops with an evil grin on his face.

Just watch the trailer. You will be asking for the next episodes asap

Changes don't have to be too big. Robert Queen could be some version of the Arrow. A paramilitary prescence spearheaded by Argus and General Ellis. Metahumans being known and hunted. The League of Shadows and other Arrow/Flash villians with different roles and motivations. Atom could be a government agent. Etc, etc, etc

You should really spoiler a lot (if not all) of that, i watched the trailer so it didn't spoil it for me - but I'm pretty sure posting about promos of episodes that haven't aired in open text isn't allowed for those who want to go in blind.

If I'm wrong on this, please vibrate hand me in the chest (but I'm pretty sure I'm right).
 
I can't believe it had been 30 unread pages before my post on this page. The hype is real and have been all season. Clearly the best show on TV for me right now.

The Flash has also always been my favorite DC character, so this show is like a childhood dream cone true, and Grant is doing magnificent work doing Barry Allen. Just wow.

I just wonder, if Barry goes all the way back in time to save his mother, how that influence Arrow? Wouldn't it deem all 3 seasons non-canon and start fresh again?

Also, I'll go watch The Flashpoint Paradox. I hope I will like it. Have never seen it.

Come to think of it. I'm also surprised at Dr Wells' real name and his relation to Eddie Thawne. I wonder what that is all about.
 
Well hot damn.

Just started this show last week and I just finished The Arrow crossover event. Show just keeps getting better. Can't wait to catch up more and discuss with peeps here on GAF.

Also, I'm downloading that Flashpoint animated film right now. Thanks for the recommendation fellow human.
 
Flashpoint is cool, a lot of changes to the alternate timeline

So many bomb drops this episode that not many ppl are mentioning how dope spartacus' weather wizard is. And how fucking cool his theme is btw, rewatch those clips. I think they low-key gave him the best soundtrack theme since malcolm merlyn

The actor playing him has the look/body for it. I hope so.

Speaking of body, I'm wondering if they're gonna get Grant to buff up a bit now for next season. He's put on some muscle, but I think some more mass would help lend credit to how far Barry has pushed himself in improving his speed/abilities.

man fuck this show. I was excited and sad and pissed and then the ending scene happened and now I'm just pissed even more because they didn't even go through with it.

Crixus and Spartacus go their separate paths. Then one ends up in Starling City and one in Central City.

Maybe RF paid Ancient Rome a visit and took some people back, hmm?
 
God damn, hope Cisco doesn't end up dying. Second favorite character on the show after Barry. One hand makes me think the whole time travel thing will save Cisco, on another hand I'm thinking they wouldn't bring up his family for no reason and we'll get Disco, Cisco's young brother :(.


Barry's power growth is also insane, he's approaching comic flash way faster than I thought he would. Weather Wizard is also insane power wise, I'm starting to think we'll see more city wide threats and even planetary down the line.

But why wouldn't it save Cisco?
All of the big events of this episode haven't happened because of the time travel.

Barry has gone back far enough though, that his knowledge of Weather Wizards actions should change the entire timeline of events going forward, which could easily prevent Cisco from being in that position in the first place. Of course, his death could occur in another way but I don't think that's the direction they're going to go.
 
Guys.. I ain't even mad about the love triangle stuff. We couldn't handle a whole hour if it were always like that last 10min. Great show!
 
I'm guessing some random stuff that happened in the episode will not happen again, like Barry spilling David's coffee or Cisco getting a brain freeze.
 
Only just realised that earlier on in the episode, when he noticed someone running beside him on the streets, it was actually the flash from the future. For some reason i automatically thought that it was the reverse flash trying to screw with him.

Love small time travel touches like that.

...but he straight up said in the following Star Labs scene that he saw "himself" and they had a conversation about time travel lol

In an earlier episode Captain Singh is eating a hamburger and complains that his boyfriend has him eating healthy and work is the only place he can eat what he likes. I think also Barry gets a shake or something on Singh's coat and he says something about his boyfriend/fiance getting it for him.

Feels like a pretty organic way of working in the fact that he is gay which is nice.

I think you misread the question, he asked what happened to the Flash from the past that he was running alongside. I'm not sure on the specifics but I think it has to do with the fact that...

...there's only a finite amount of Speed Force. Barry's the key to the Speed Force and I think two of him drawing that much energy at the same time screwed things up and caused one to poof!

I was under the impression that Wells was just wearing the Red suit to mess with Barry and being coy during the discussion.

Man, this is one show I give my full concentration to. MH4U can wait.


I hope that they won't keep using Flash's ability to go back in time. As it is, the trailer already shows "consequences of time travel" and "time screwing with Barry". With The Flash now acquiring time travelling abilities...isn't it about time Reverse Flash can tap into that Speedforce to travel back in time?


Wonder how they are gonna top this for Season 2. Such an awesome episode.

Eh, honestly most of the DC Animated movies are complete garbage that are just pandering to people who are already pretty big fans of the brand or characters. Flashpoint Paradox is fortunately not one of those and fairly well done...but I really wouldn't say most of them are.
 
I know Flash has been delivering but i'm preparing myself for them not doing anything Flashpoint related and instead this time travel jump will just be a retcon for everything awesome and deaths that happened in the last episode.

Yeah, I really like Cosnett as Eddie as well. The guy brings a really easy charm and likability to a role that could easily be pretty thankless. It's reached the point with Eddie that I really do not want to see him become a villain over pettiness or jealousy cause he just does not at all seem the type.

I want him and Barry to be friends.

I have to say I had a very hard time getting used to him as Eddie. Especially as I were used to see him as a doctor from The Vampire Diaries season 5. And him being with Iris never felt right and still doesn't feel right. But he is growing on me and I'm sure he'll keep growing on me.
