What do you think happens to last week's timeline
without Barry? Does Wells go batshit crazy and kill everybody? Is Wells exposed? Is Joe permanently disabled? Is Coast City underwater? No Flash means Wells is stuck permanently. This is one way to extend the season. Hopefully the writers retcon this in a way that closes the time travel loophole before this series turns into Heroes with the fuckery.

Well, Barry already knows most of what's going to happen, so he could check most of the damage before it happens.

Or else he'll try to get back, travel back in time, get his past resolved and return to right when he left.

I'm guessing all that never happened now. His discussion about the speed mirage will take a different turn since it'll be about time travel, he'll be able to easily defeat Mardon since he'll know where the guy's going to be. We've already seen that changes in the past alter the the future of the same timeline rather than there being multiple timelines.

New episode today:
Season 1: episode 16 "Rogue Time"

The Flash learns that Captain Cold and Heat Wave have returned to Central City. This time Snart has brought along his baby sister Lisa to help wreak havoc on the city.

The Speedforce is pretty much the Flash's version of Doctor Who's "Timey-Wimey" at this point.

I hope todays episode starts the trend of the rouges battling Flash, but somehow end up becomig brief allies in the third act just like in the Flash books.

Well, we just get back with a big time-travel episode, all sorts of reveals. You'd think that we'd be gearing up for Barry vs. Wells take 2, but instead... rogues!

Well he changes the future. I expect the rogues appearing is in some way related to that.

It seems odd, but I'm sure it's all part of a plan that will become much clearer as we get closer to the season finale.

Really not looking forward to this
Rogues
episode. Hope it won't be too bad.

I think I read somewhere that there will be 2 flashback episodes.

Like I said a while ago,
I'm going to take it as a test on whether Geoff Johns was to blame for the previous two or not. He wrote the first two Rogue episodes with a partner, this one has the partner still writing it but with someone else.

First season is not even over and they have Flash time traveling.

That might be a mistake.

And I was right about Reverse Flash being fast enough to whip his own ass, kinda.

I'm still half expecting Barry's powers to get toned down significantly next season, maybe with history changing and Wells/Reverse Flash ending up not existing after Barry tries to save his mother in the next go around. He still gets his powers but without the Wells influenced acceleration. Okay, not likely because that would cause too many issues with explaining the meta humans and all that, even if it could be an event that was meant to happen but "Wells" slightly changed it
after he took over the real Harrison Wells' identity or whoever was originally responsible for S.T.A.R. Labs in this show. Maybe Barry was meant to meet the real guy who Eobard made himself up to look like or something, that's way to try and get Tom Cavanagh to stick around and bring back a now not dead Simon Stagg but okay this is way too messy and probably convoluted.
That's an idea kind based on an actual potential spoiler from the Arrow or Flash trailer with the scenes from future episodes.

If that timeline still exists,
everyone's dead, thanks to Weather Wizard. I'm not sure it does, though, since Barry seems to replace his past self when he travels back in time.

I can't wait for tonight's episode! My wife, who didn't find the series interesting in the beginning, now is interested in it thanks to last week's episode.

That's kind of what I gathered. When he looks around and sees the dog, etc at the very end of the episode, it's the same thing as when he looks around at the beginning. I thought he just turned back time and basically everything that happened last episode was erased.

What I thought, as mentioned before, is that he merged with his past self.
