I mean basically right here and now they could theoretically get a huge advantage over him by just destroying everything in that room.

Loved this episode. Caitlyn x Barry never to be seen again ;_;.

Hope Canary's metagene is eventually activated, I liked that she has her canary cry now. Caught a glimpse of next arrow and that looks insane as well.

Seems kind of weird Thawne's chamber didn't have any security on it, thought it would trigger an alarm when they crossed that threshold. I'm sure it activated something, just weird there's no biometric lock or anything.

Yeah I have no doubt that wells knows they entered the room. Maybe he wanted this to happen. Wouldn't surprise me in the least if he's known about them investigating him for the last few episodes.

Also my theory for next week
we know they're going to be setting a trap for wells but he'll obviously know about it. I think there's every possibility he'll get everyman out of the pipeline and have him act as wells when stuff goes down. Then when they think they have him boom thawne let's them know they fell for the shapeshifter again.
I'm only a little more than half serious with that guess but I could see it happening.

Speculation for next week:
Looks like we're getting a redo of the scene where Cisco dies. I'm going to say that, going by the timeline visions he was getting, he probably has some kind of abilities now and will be able to withstand Thawne's vibrating hand attack. There was also a scene in one of the earlier trailers where Cisco wearing the same goggles that Vibe wears in the comics, so that has to be where they're going with his character

dat ending

dat preview

ngggggghhhhh

Cisco and Laurel was kind cute, not gonna lie

dat ending, made up for any issues I have with the episode. Lack of common sense gets washed away when they finally see what wells is.

Yeah, kind of silly most of the conflicts in the episode were predicated on the characters acting stupidly. Did Everyman even touch Eddie?

In the promo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fmn8-foEFQ, at 8 seconds in you can actually see
the shapeshifter lying on the floor in front of Joe. I bet he takes the form of Cisco and Wells attacks HIM. They used him as bait.

Yeah between our two theories I think we've found a very possible outcome.

Yeah I believe they actually fought a bit during their first encounter.

I'm glad it picked up near the end because otherwise, this episode sucked. Too many people acting like idiots to move the plot along and everything involving the Wells mystery was so much more interesting than the metahuman of the week that I wish they'd just focused on that.

(I did like Laurel a lot here. I think she might be on the wrong show.)

Pretty ''meh'' episode apart from the ending. Maybe the weakest episode from the season.

I thought it was pretty good outside of barry being stupid when bates came to his house. I thought it was better than last weeks episode anyway. None of that matters though because the last four episodes will be fantastic.

The easy answer would be, he always had a gun on him.

Most likely. Copy-Barry had a gun too. The shapeshifting thing didn't bother to fill in a lot of blanks but it mostly makes sense if you think about it. Show wasn't too bothered explaining the nitty gritty of transforming and honestly it would have been a waste of time.

I said damn.

Everyone that crosses over to the Flash
"They might be on the wrong show"
Hell even Ollie is fantastic when he crossed over

Arrow melodrama pulls everyone down.

This episode had plenty of eyeroll moments with the shapeshifter, but the subplot of Wells continues to build momentum. Should be a great finish

This episode was offensively bad.

Every female character was written to be stupid with a vengeance. That lady's acting at the beginning was so bad it sounded like a robot's simulation of a human. And shapeshifter dude turning into a little girl was cringe dumb. More Iris being annoying. WHY IS EVERYONE DUMB ALL OF A SUDDEN.

Easily the worst Flash episode to date. Disappointing.

The only good thing about this episode was that Laurel Lance looked fucking phenomenal, she never looks that good on Arrow. Are Flash cameras doing some kind of magic?

(Cisco is always dope.)
