Same, there's a good group of young players coming through, we need to be planning for 2026 & 2028, Henderson, Maguire and others will simply be too old by then, I'd argue Kane too, especially for 2028.

Lucky to be in the squad really, he's been alright at Villa, but nobody has really locked down that LW position yet. Gordon has probably been the best of the bunch recently.

He's 35 in June, he should not be getting any minutes regardless. I understand the reason to have some older heads in the dressing room but hes stealing minutes from youngsters who need all the time they can get to bond & gel with their WC/Euro team mates. Henderson will be 36 at the WC. The Portuguese are getting heat because they keep playing a 40yr old Ronaldo.
