Jesus fuckin christ... that was unreal.

It was good to see Amorim with a smile for once, the guy deserves this.

Good to see how rio and scholes acknowledge how honest and direct Amorim is in the press conferences.

To the uk gaf, what is the general feeling about Amorim from the press??

Really hope they win the Europa league.

I think the press generally like him. He's direct and honest in press conferences, and he has a certain charisma and that's always going to help. As United manager, you're constantly under intense scrutiny so opinion is going to swing from seeing him as the next big thing to thinking the sky is falling.

I think the one thing the media knew about him is that he plays a 3-4-3. And so they've really clung to that and have this idea that he rigidly only wants to play one way, which isn't really the case.

Seems to be a decent manager, but has been handed a bunch of average players who can't play to his style.

Too early to really say. He needs to bring in his own players and then we can judge.

Really hope they win the Europa league.

I don't think they will. Bilbao are a much better team tha Lyon and that Man U defence is dog shit.

Yeah, they beat Lyon, but they were 2-0 up against 10 men and almost threw it away. Sancet must be licking his lips at the prospect of going up against that weak defence.

What a shit season this has ended up being.

I hope City win the FA Cup and United win the Europa just so everyone can laugh at Arsenal.

Spurs winning today would suffice for the time being. :messenger_tears_of_joy:

I'd like to see the title race come down to the game between Arse and Pool.

Luke Shaw starts! :messenger_face_screaming: First time for 14 months!
I do feel like that LCB spot is probably going to be better for him long term. It doesn't require the explosiveness that LWB does and so it (hopefully!) puts him at less risk of injury. But at this point it's a luxury to have him and United shouldn't be planning around his availability.

Agreed.

Standard for United being 1-0 down and it came from our own free kick! This season :messenger_unamused:

It is kinda funny that there's a decent chance United's season might come down to "are they better than Spurs?"

Was at the Birmingham City game today. League One Champions and have got to 105 points (which is the record for that division) and still 2 more games to play.

Didn't realise that. I did read about Wrexham being the only team to get back to back to back promotions. Good efforts all round!

I wanted to say that WREXHAM getting promoted 3 straight seasons is unreal. Their manager might be one of the best of all time.

That's just typical really. 105 points which is a record in the division, they haven't lost at home all season in the league and yet all you (not aimed at you, in general) hear about is Wrexham coming 2nd.

The whole Ryan Reynolds & the other guy ownership probably helps the Wrexham cause.

Wrexham won't compete in the Championship without a lot of investment and that's where the fun probably stops for the owners.

Leagues 1 and 2 aren't that different and a 15 goal a season striker will get you out of either, but there's a reason Lambert's and Vardy's aren't appearing in the Prem yearly because it's a huge step up in quality.

Great game! What a player Yamal is, effortless.
Barca vs PSG would be some game.

PSG the best team in the world when they are firing atm if you ask me. Remind me of City when the smashed Real a couple of season back.

Did anyone see the copa? some game that.

Ive been saying it'll be PSG Vs Barca in the final but that's up in the air now cos it's 3-3 and the next games in Milan. PSG do look good when they're firing on all cylinders though, the Barca defence, less so.

Wolrd media absolutely glazing the fuck out of Lamine Yamal today. The kid has serious skill, but he's only 17. I've seen so many kids be called the "next Messi" only to fizzle out before their mid 20s. Let's see how he continues in the next few years.

I hope he does become one of the GOATs, but we need to wait and see before giving him that title.

Birmingham now have the most points record of 108 points in a season beating the previous of 106 from 2006.

Fellow blue nose?

To be fair, we spent more than any team in that league. I expected this.

Yeah.

Still have to win the games and we have been dog shit in some of them this season.

Agreed.

Next season the goal should just be survival. My old man thinks we should be pushing for prem. I told him he's fucking dreaming. I'd be happy with a comfortable mid table finish. That would be a successful season.

I think if we get half of this seasons points (54) then I'll be happy. Puts us where Norwich are now, 14th.

Did you know there is an Amazon documentary next month?

To be honest they've ruined the champions league anyway - I know it is to make UEFA more cash and the attempt to stop the super league but it takes the piss that due to cup competitions, in the Premier League potentially finish 9th and you get a Champions League place.

They need to stop calling it the champions league if the team with the least fouls and bookings all season gets a spot in it due to them playing nicely all season.
