Bortolotti won the first F2 race in Catalunya, which makes me happy and it looks like he had a pretty good season this year.

But I'll have to talk with him about this finger thing ...

Anyway ...

Please be a talented enough for F1, please be talented enough for F1.

Ahahaha, Massa is such a tart.

Pretty good quali all in all. My GOD this track is a beast, I love seeing cars going around it and now I want to do another 50 laps in F1 2011.

It's so refreshing to have a new track which is brilliant. I hope it stays for years. Pretty can shut up about Tilke now.

Hey, it wasn't his fault, okay? Blame Codemasters for leaving the invisible wall there.

My God, why did I look for a statement from him? That's too much. :lol

Turn 8 anti-cut kerbing too high, claims Massa

Felipe Massa says the anti-cut device in place at Turn 8 is ‘too high’ in its design, with the Ferrari driver crashing out of qualifying after making contact with the kerbing. The Brazilian ultimately had to settle for sixth place on tomorrow afternoon’s grid, three places behind team-mate Fernando Alonso.

"What happened on my last timed lap was a real shame," said Massa. "Today, we had the potential to secure a good placing, as Fernando demonstrated and as can also be seen from the fact my sixth best time was set with a rather slow third sector.

"I came into Turn 8 and went over the kerb and the front right suspension gave way in the impact with the raised orange part, which in my opinion is too high at this point. It’s a very fast corner, taken at around 215 km/h (133 mph) and it could be arranged differently.

"These are details that need improving for next year. I repeat, I am disappointed, because the car has been going well all weekend long. Now I find myself with one less set of Softs and with a broken front wing.

"It was the new one, which we had here for the first time and it delivered a bit extra in terms of performance. Tomorrow, overtaking will be difficult because of the dirt on track, but I think we will still see a lot."

It's never his fucking fault.
Never.

Very brief and crappy preview as I've been running around all week preparing Halloween costumes/costume and generally mismanaging time. Next preview should be far more substantial.

Well since this is the first race in India I don't have too much to go on. Unless I can dig up a biopic on Narain Karthikeyan.

Fitting for the venue, cobbled together just in time.

Well, bed time for me so I can get up for the race...

...Vettel to have his first non finish of the year. Either taken out by Webber or mechanical failure.

Atleast wait until you fall asleep before dreaming.

I think I'll just watch the race on the iPlayer tomorrow. I'll set my alarm, but I'll only get up when I feel like it. For some reason I don't think it will be such a great race.

I just hope that after two terrible weeks for the motorsport community; that everything goes smoothly for the race and that everyone involved, whether it be the drivers or the marshals, stay safe.

All we can hope for, really. Fingers crossed that the corners that seem to have been cut during construction are the only ones and safety is as good as on any other track.

Oh Lee...

I'm at work with no sound, dammit. I can't hear her speaking.

I shall just have to stare at her lips. To lipread, of course.
