1992 was a really strange season. The McLaren Honda was about as dominant as the 2004 Ferrari (arguably more so), but unlike Barrichello who could occasionally put up a fight, Patrese was complete and utter garbage.

? unless you meant Williams :P

Missed Quali will watch later, no suprise Vettel toke pole. Alonso in third place is pleasant news, with his amazing starts his had this year I expect him to take first place within the first couple of corners or at least take second.

That's an old video. Fernando was still at Renault at that time.
e: Or at least it looks like the Renault logo in the blurry video.

1:08 Renault logo.

I hope for some GIFs, there was some good moments today.

I've been slowly warming up to F1 so I thought this was the best place to ask. What's some essential viewing for someone somewhat new to the sport, I haven't watched F1 since Montoya left. Are there any must see, full races from the last 10 years I can watch online?

From this year

Canada
Monaco

Not watched quali yet, just on the pre-show and I'm glad to hear all the drivers like the track.

I think it has the potential to become one of my favourite tracks based on the time I spent on it in 2011.

If you we weren't following the title race that season then Brazil 08 wont be any where near as good!

That race always makes me feel really bad for
Coulthard
. On his last race he didn't even complete one lap :(

Yeah that was a really sad moment, it was sad to see him retire regardless.

Those last laps, the darkness falling, the rain, Massa losing the WC in the last corner in front of his home crowd, the crowd itself, the rage in the Ferrari pitbox.

I can go on and on, it's probably one of the best motorsport memories I have. It was amazing on every front.

Awesome, thanks for the suggestions guys, keep me coming! Is there anywhere I can see the full races online, or am I gonna have to settle for highlights?

Lewie was more deserving of the title in 2007, yet he and McLaren blew it in Brazil. A year later against Kova as a teammate and Massa in his prime year and he wins it. Funny that.

Watch Spa 1995, 1998, 2001, 2004, 2007, Suzuka 1988, 2000, 2005, Silverstone 2003, Catalunya 1996, Austria 1998 for some classic action.

They're available on the net if you know where to look. ;)

Webber is the Australian DC.
As a DC fan it saddens me to say this... but you're absolutely right.

Unrelated, it's strange, we have so few "bad" drivers in F1 at the moment. Most years going back into the past you could easily pick out people like Badoer, Grouillard, Chiesa, Inoue, Marques, Yamamoto etc etc in most seasons. Not sure anyone would really qualify this year.

Liuzzi, Karthikeyan, Trulli, Massa, Maldonado, Heidfeld.

Karthikeyan is pretty bad and arguably Maldonado, but the rest are decent but not good enough. There's a world of difference between a Trulli and an Ide.

None of those drivers are in the league of the ones I mentioned.

Well, Karthikeyan, maybe. Give the rest a decent car and they'd likely get reasonable results. Most of the drivers I mentioned struggled to even finish races (and I'm not talking about with engine failures).

Trulli may be a whining bitch, but he's had podiums. Same goes for for Heidfeld.

As for Massa, Ferrari broke him.
