Just to remind people, bbc-player.com got upgrade that enables it to stream f1 red button content. I saw FP1 today on it, and it worked great.

Hard to believe that this season is already over.
http://www.gpupdate.net/en/f1-news/271197/liuzzi-i-have-a-long-term-hrt-contract/Liuzzi: I have a long-term HRT contract
Vitantonio Liuzzi has reiterated that he has a long-term contract with HRT and will not be moving teams between the 2011 and 2012 Formula 1 seasons. Although the squads ownership may have altered since the start of the current campaign, the Italian is fully confident that he will be staying put.
No longer owned by José Ramón Carabantes Hispania company, the Murcia-based outfit is now controlled by Spanish investment firm the Thesan Group.
I have to say the team is changing, Liuzzi began to explain on Thursday. The structure is improving all the time and I think there are a lot of changes for next year, on-going across the next month. I think the structure has improved a lot during the 2011 season and we are now focussed on 2012.
We want to improve and get better in the field and I feel these changes are going in the right direction. There is still nothing completely clear about how the line-up will be for next year, in terms of the setup of the team, but I think we are going forward.
I'd like to see more mid-season testing.Edmond Dantès said:Not many testing days really.

They're pretty much using the next two races as testing sessions for 2012.SunhiLegend said:

It saddens me that Ferrari are copying the Red Bull design, since it has definitely made me lose a lot of respect for them.
They got Pat Fry, but I don't know how much he can change.Myoclonic Jerk said:Ferrari lost their edge since dominicali took over from todt

It's their 2012 wing, isn't it? I can't watch it right know.Psychotext said:Yes... "manufacturing issue".
Or "we don't know how Red Bull manufacture these flexi wings, which is a bit of an issue"
Supposedly, yeah.brotkasten said:It's their 2012 wing, isn't it? I can't watch it right know.
I hope Alonso can influence the team and direction like Michael did. He complained about the current situation in the BBC interview and he pretty much knows what's wrong right now. "we need our own innovation" etc.Myoclonic Jerk said:But the whole structure which took Michael and co years to put in place ,a winning team, got dismantled in a couple of seasons

Only reason he spun it was in the hope that the RBR was there and he could double-check that the engineers nailed the front wing.Psychotext said:Lucky they'd already moved the Red Bull.
I don't think it's only Domenicali's fault, the team is bigger than that and he isn't the only decision maker there. They kicked out Costa for basically no reason. Yes, the car sucked, but it still does and I can't see any improvement and I highly doubt that the 2012 car will do much better. Just look at the laughable front wing. Meanwhile, Schumacher and Brawn are trying to build another super team at Mercedes. They already got the speed, now they need to get the aero of the car. It kinda scares me to think they could be dominating. :lolMyoclonic Jerk said:I'm not a Ferrari nor Alonso fan, but I would like the team to go back to its former reputation. I think the solution is clear, they have the money, they drivers, and supposedly the engineers, so Dominicali needs to go
So focused, he doesn't even blink.SunhiLegend said:
Jealous? Probably, yeah. But I don't know if I'd call him weak. I'd rather say he's a little emotional. Unless you see this as a weakness, too.Goldrusher said:Sounds like he's an incredibly weak and jealous guy.
Goldrusher said:He's getting paid 20 million or something to perform, to be there for the team.
Basically he's been letting down hundreds of people at McLaren and hundreds of thousands of fans, all because "Button has a girlfriend and he doesn't" as he explained so himself.
If anything, he should have less on his mind now.
Massa getting more than Vettel is hilarious.DrM said:A lot of wasted money at Ferrari and Mercedes
They are getting boni based on results at RBRbrotkasten said:Massa getting more than Vettel is hilarious.
And you think nobody else does that?S. L. said:They are getting boni based on results at RBR
no, but from my understanding it's much more significant at RBR,brotkasten said:And you think nobody else does that?
Then again, Massa should pay Ferrari for his seat, based on his performance this year. :lol
