First corner will be TIGHT tommorow. Also, there is very short part of track from start to the first corner.

Remember, Alonso's starts last 2 races. Hope he pulls it off again.
Yeah, but he had quite long straight in the last 2 races. Here is around 300 meters to the first corner (if i recall is this shortest run to the first corner on the calendar), plus he is on dirty side. Massa is in much better place, but i fear that he could do something stupid, like torpedoing his teammate or smth like that.

button says they're not setup for wet weather.
Maybe he missed when they altered the car or he was not informed at all. This could happened in Mclaren :D

But it seems that they heavily compromised quali pace for the race pace.

Rain started in Montreal, so a bit late for Mclaren wet gamble (as Whitmarsh said). But i think that if they survive first corner mayhem, they should do very well with race pace they have.

My mathematical set up is prevailing! SIX EXTRA POINTS!

Hoping for rain, but hoping more that Alonso overtakes Vettel and then Massa fucks up and takes Vettel out.

the relatively poor mcl performance is surprising

also i dunno if that was known but i thought it was some interesting info from the commentators in fp3, the RBR KERS only generates 2/3 of the maximum allowed power by design

Lewis was very pessimistic after quolies, there are rumors that his KERS was not working. They had just too much downforce for this track. Same mistake as last years Monza...
All mechanics will be dancing for the rain this evening...

If it's dry tomorrow Vettel will finish 2nd or 3rd. If it's wet, he wont finish on the podium unless others crash.
Yes! Yes yes yes. With any luck, Webber will finish ahead of him... hopefully there's no obvious favouring in the pits.

Also, we will have safety car or two...

Rain chance is rising from hour to hour, now it is on 70 % (rose from 40 %)

Big changes for next year. The exhaust will have to circular in shape, exit in the centre of the car between the diffuser & beam wing inline with the rear wheels.
Engine suppliers will have to work on ways to make the engines work with such long secondary exhaust pipes, will teams will have to work out the packaging of the exhaust, blowing either near the centre line which brings the exhausts close the hydraulics and gearbox. Or blowing outboard which will create the longest exhaust routing and exposes a lot of floor to the heat radiating from the exhaust pipe. In both case the longer exhausts will obstruct airflow to the diffuser, forcing some compromises in packaging.
One benefit for fans will be the clear line of sight to the exhausts, allowing us once more to the flames on the overrun and when revving on the grid before the start.

If anyone outside wants to view the iplayer stream, it works if you use a UK vpn. I use Overplay.net (which costs $10 a month) and iplayer streams perfectly all the way here in Thailand.

I'm pretty sure there will be cheaper VPNs out there if you have a look on Google.
