redbull and ferrari will lock out the top 4 places with one of the mercs splitting the mclarens.
Yeah, but he had quite long straight in the last 2 races. Here is around 300 meters to the first corner (if i recall is this shortest run to the first corner on the calendar), plus he is on dirty side. Massa is in much better place, but i fear that he could do something stupid, like torpedoing his teammate or smth like that.Dilly said:Remember, Alonso's starts last 2 races. Hope he pulls it off again.
Maybe he missed when they altered the car or he was not informed at all. This could happened in MclarenWax Free Vanilla said:button says they're not setup for wet weather.
Take each other out, Massa chokes, Webber wins!Wax Free Vanilla said:alonso and vettel duking it out tomorrow then.
I thought the same thing.tHoMNZ said:lol if massa drove straighter to the line he would have probably beaten Alonso
Jerome dAmbrosio will start the Canadian Grand Prix despite failing to beat the 107% time in qualifying.
The stewards took into account Virgins explanation that he had to switch to the spare car today following his crash at the end of second practice yesterday.
DAmbrosio was outside the 107% time by half a second in Q1.
He will start the race from last place.
Lewis was very pessimistic after quolies, there are rumors that his KERS was not working. They had just too much downforce for this track. Same mistake as last years Monza...S. L. said:the relatively poor mcl performance is surprising
also i dunno if that was known but i thought it was some interesting info from the commentators in fp3, the RBR KERS only generates 2/3 of the maximum allowed power by design
That was clearly a team order!tHoMNZ said:lol if massa drove straighter to the line he would have probably beaten Alonso
We might actually see someone else win a race.navanman said:No delay to this ban so its definately coming in for Silverstone & a total ban on the diffuser setup for 2012 season.

Hey, that could happen tomorrow. How many drivers hit the WOC twice in one weekend?anonnumber6 said:We might actually see someone else win a race.
Yes! Yes yes yes. With any luck, Webber will finish ahead of him... hopefully there's no obvious favouring in the pits.Psychotext said:If it's dry tomorrow Vettel will finish 2nd or 3rd. If it's wet, he wont finish on the podium unless others crash.

http://scarbsf1.wordpress.com/2011/06/12/2012-exhaust-blown-diffusers-are-banned/Engine suppliers will have to work on ways to make the engines work with such long secondary exhaust pipes, will teams will have to work out the packaging of the exhaust, blowing either near the centre line which brings the exhausts close the hydraulics and gearbox. Or blowing outboard which will create the longest exhaust routing and exposes a lot of floor to the heat radiating from the exhaust pipe. In both case the longer exhausts will obstruct airflow to the diffuser, forcing some compromises in packaging.
One benefit for fans will be the clear line of sight to the exhausts, allowing us once more to the flames on the overrun and when revving on the grid before the start.
And weather will only be worse, if forecasts are correctiSimon said:
