fuck Alonso/Vettel/Hamilton/Button/Webber, put them on Virgin, Hispania and Lotus let's see what they can do. BOOOOORIIIIIINNNGGGGGG.

I forgot Massa, well he's so forgettable after all.

Worst race this year.

If you have access to iPlayer, watch yesterday's MotoGP 125 race. It was one of the most exciting rounds I've ever witnessed... and it'll wash the taste of this Valencia turd from your mouth.

Races like this make me wonder why countries like Spain have two races this season. At least give to some other country, like us; The Netherlands.

worst track? seems so
I must admit that I like the artificial look of the track, but god damn are the races awful to watch. Even the race on Monaco, the worst track ever, was godly and amazing this year, but not fucking Valencia.

So sad to watch Vettel winning like this and people like Alonso having to push his car at 500% to get only 2nd. McLaren was bad today, Hamilton the tyre eater, at least today.

Alonso, Vettel, Button and Webber have all driven inferior cars at the start of their careers and impressed enough to warrant a drive in the good teams.

I've been at a classic car show today - started listening to the GP on the radio on the way home and caught the last 20 minutes. Sounded like another Valencia snoozefest. I think I'll delete it from my Sky box..

I dont know why they bothered with that track to be honest. Surely Aragon would have been a better choice? Personally I'd like them give Portugal a race back and have Portimao on the calendar.

I can't even remember much about this race that was exciting, damn maybe it is the worst track on the calendar after all

Hamilton & Alonso driving for Virgin and pushing those trucks would be more exciting to watch than Vettel flying around the tracks with his F-14 Tomcat.

Alonso overtaking Webber in a much inferior machinery thanks to the DRS and Alguersuari taking 8th starting from 18th were the highlights for me, nothing crazy to write home about.

The nurb 24h was a vastly better show.

I never thought I would be able to watch the human centipede on the BBC... oh wait that's just brundle and coulthard with their heads shoved up vettels backside.

Yeah, I kept thinking 'please stop' because he seemed to be nearing the verge of telling her everything about his life
I actually thought it was pretty cool. He's had a lot of speculation over his future recently and he's just had his second strong points finish in a row. It felt as if he'd got out of the car all wired and it was his way of saying, 'YEAH, YOU LIKE DAT HELMUT MARKO? WHUT.'

He's already proved his place in F1.

I know but even so I didn't expect him to more or less express that the ban is a real worry for him and that the simulations that they've done shows a 'significant' difference, but he seemed cool about it so maybe not that worried. Also I love Brundle, he just coasts into examining the prancing horse. No fear, love that guy.

Some things.

1. Shit race, was horrendous. Have to say I could not give a fuck about Valencia and I'm someone who always tries to catch races live. Just everything about it was horrible, track, surroundings, race. No fucking way has this piece of shit track got a greater claim to the European GP than a place like Nurburgring.

2. Ferrari's shitness at pitstops is the normal and it seems like it's back after the departure of Stepney and Ross.

3. F1 engines are pathetic. Truly meak and worthless. Drivers coming from lower Formula's would struggle to get to grips with the ridiculous power and torque the V10's provided. Completely pussified. Sound horrible. Drive horrible. Truly horrible. THIS IS WHAT AN F1 ENGINE SHOULD SOUND LIKE

The rule changes in a few years will be the end of F1, this year alone i have already gone from a huge F1 fan to mostly watching tin-tops.

I reached that point long ago. F1 started it's dark dive into pikey heaven post 2002. The only rule change they needed was single tyre supplier after that season, the Ferrari's had totally bespoke tyres from Bridgestone. This was half the reason for the utter dominance of the F2002. Instead 2003 saw the introduction of the first endurance rules on engines. V10's around Spa, Monza and Silverstone were just hauntingly beautiful.

you can't really understand the sound of the good old engines until you hear one in real life.

a video can't really explain the pain going from one ear to the other when the car pass in front of you and you're too close to the track, the feeling in your guts, the vibrations... it's unbelievable.

I was glad I went to several races during the V10 era. Will never forget them. V6 jokes in 2014. NASCAR > F1. Never thought I'd see the day.
