Alonso and Kubica are very good friends, I'm pretty sure Alonso would welcome Kubica as a team mate.

Definitely. It's probably the only good F1 driver that Alonso wouldn't mind as a team mate he even recently said Kubica is the best F1 driver.

He's also good friends with Webber but he's not a good driver

Bets are up on f1racemanager

Watched some of the Sky F1 shows last night on SkyGo. As expected, most of the studio stuff is awful. The track stuff with Brundle is great though

Yes! Made it into the GAF league this year. Was so bummed to catch the thread after the season's start. Looks to be a fun fantasy scoring system.

So hyped for this weekend.

Got this to prepare for the weekend:

This damn thing is not available in UK Amazon to ship in my country.

Damn it forever.

Looks like Bernie is quite happy with Codemasters.

Now if he'd ever play the games at launch ...

Do you honestly hate Kubica that much? If he joined Alonso at Ferrari, he would be treated like Massa, and if Alonso joined him at another team, Fernando would be as ass like he was to Lewis at Mclaren.

Kubica doesn't benefit in either scenario.

Kubica isn't Massa.

Also tired of constantly hearing that "Alonso gets all resources talk!" all the time. If Kubica really would get treated like that, he's gone. Also, being a driver at Ferrari after coming back from 2 years of recovery is what I'd call beneficial.

I'd love a peek at his training regime, he still is one of the better athletes in F1. He has far more muscle mass than any of the front runners who look more like marathon runners.

f1 is more about fitness than muscle

The two can be combined to great effect as Michael proved when he was in his peak.
Wasn't he basically the first of the superfit drivers back in the day? I remember they always used to show him working out... and then you'd see someone like Irvine. :D

In many ways, Schumi was Senna prime. Senna was an early driver to really emphasize fitness, then Schumi took it to a ridiculous level.

Yeah, he took what Senna was doing and ramped it up to a whole new level. He is to F1 fitness what Jackie Stewart and Sid Watkins were to F1 safety.

Hahaha he always wears the gaudiest clothes! No, cancel that, the German reported from RDL (I think).

As long as it puts more money in his pocket Bernie could care less who makes the games.

You know it, a few minutes of talking and bam, press release. After coughing up the $ of course!

Yep, also, he was the first Driver to really inspect and look at other drivers' cars and their tires. You'll notice he still does it and so does Vettel...Both are very smart intelligence wise.

I'm really enjoying all these SKYF1 specials over here in Canada!

That sounds a little bit unrealistic. Guys have been looking at each other's tires over here in the US on dirt tracks since the 60's.

Why did they change the colour of the curbs? They changed the colour at Spa as well, preferred red-white.
Well, "green and gold" are the national colors of Australia.

Spa changed to red-yellow because of Shell, now the race's main sponsor. And they're the national colors of Wallonia as well.
