Awesome picture of the Mercedes.

Ferrari doing extensive aero testing, looks like they are evaluation wind tunnel and simulator data to those on track.

Looks like some work at Ferrari, RBR and Mercedes garages

Alonso starts another stint, just when Nasr goes into the gravel. Red flag.

I refuse to read too much into pre-season timings. But the thought of having Ferraris battling it out with Mercedes is just too beautiful to not give into it

I just remembered how last year everyone was struggeling in the pre season testing and horrible reliabilty was expected for the first few races....

McLaren will be fine...

Moscow was added in the list of cities that will host a Formula-E race this season. So, one more race this season to enjoy. :)

Mercedes has broken down, only took it the best part of 300 laps... insane reliability for a new car.

Ferrari looking strong again, although they're doing shorter runs than Mercedes so logic points to a lower fuel load.

McLaren finally getting some laps under their belt, and the engine has some speed it seems. Only 4km/h slower than Mercedes down the straight.

I'm looking forward to hearing Kimi's verdict on the SFIST. Specifically if it's another Alonso or something drivable.

Didn't it break down with a water leak yesterday?

They were forced to end their day early but no, it made it back to the pits. It was just leaking fluid. Much like Lauda yes haha.

Raikkonen's new lid:

Lunch time lap count, day 3:

Rosberg (Mercedes) 93
Sainz (Toro Rosso) 57
Raikkonen (Ferrari) 44
Nasr (Sauber) 39
Maldonado (Lotus) 32
Alonso (McLaren) 32
Massa (Williams) 27
Ricciardo (Red Bull) 5

Why does it seem like Mercedes are just testing to find out how many miles they can put on the car before it just explodes?

Well they are more evolution than revolution, with reliability being the mercs biggest issue last season and more emphasis on reliability this season wouldn't you drive your car into the ground to see what goes wrong?

Yep, they pretty much are just driving around until something breaks. Seems to be working for them.

Mercedes AMG F1 Twitter said:
@MercedesAMGF1: "UPDATE: Engine shutdown brought @nico_rosberg's last run to a halt. The crew are looking into it now... "

Not going to happen. Ferrari always do well in testing, I'll be happy if they are competitive with the Williams and Red Bull
