The Formula 1 2015 Season |OT| Formula E Feeder Series

This is just the perfect example of an armchair expert.

Hamilton timed it perfectly yes but if the rain had come down just one lap later he'd have lost out.

No need to be so disparaging

One car would have taken a risk and they might have a car on the podium right now. Why's that the wrong call?

But as bad as Williams was, it really seems Kimi was screwed by his own team. "Oh well. Another poor result Kimi. Bye we are hiring Bottas. Cya"

Also Honda recovery to dominance starts today. It's unavoidable.

Well, congrats to Hamilton and Mercedes. The race ended exactly the way most people would expect this season, but the race itself was anything but predictable. That pit stop timing was so amazing. Lol.

The same rain that saved Rosberg's ass also saved Hamilton lol. Would've been a Merc-Will-Will podium if the race remained dry.

He came in because the rain made it necessary, otherwise he'd have put on another set of slicks.

what a race, what a race

totally deserved win by hamilton, great call. that's what makes him one of the absolute best drivers. shame that it didn't work out for Williams but Vettel on 3 lol. totally unexpected but it makes me happy. but yeah williams need to get their strategy shit together.

also finally a point for mclaren and alonso lol.

Damn, what a race.

Bottas is going to have 100% legitimate complaints that he could have been ahead by any number of seconds before the first stops. They were 1-2 before the first stops and ended 4-5, lol. Freaking Williams.
Wait for Alonso to be investigated and penalised for a post-race technical infringement lol
I too am completely expecting this.

Finally an interesting race. But imagine if the Williams pit had made some half decent decisions... it could have been a brilliant afternoon. Oh well, still much better than all the other recent races.

Oh please. Bottas was not faster than massa when he wasn't inside the drs zone. To believe he'd pull a gap to massa is wishful thinking at best.
In the end he almost got eaten up by a red bull 30 seconds behind Massa.

All of it doesn't matter anyway since the calls they made after the rain came in led to them being 4-5.

You don't have 4 cars all within a 2 second window lap after lap if the guy in front isn't slower than those behind.

DRS or not.

Drs or not? How is massa supposed to pull a gap when the drivers behind him can activate drs twice per lap?
Stuff like that happens when all are on the same pace too

Did we watch the same race? Bottas onboard showed that he had considerably more speed through the corners. He obviously didn't make a proper attempt at a overtake because both WIlliams drivers had been told before the race to not fight each other.

You know that Vettel was closing the gap and was overtaking him like it was nothing before his pitstop.

Yeah. Since his return Kimi has had sometimes huge problems to get these moderns tyres warm enough so when it rains he is pretty much slowest guy on the grid. In the other hand when it's burning hot he can make these tyres last like no other (especially during the Lotus times).

Ferrari should pray for as much rainy races as possible, because they are dropping back on dry weather

WIL pit wall is taking the trophy from FER pit wall as kings of bad decisions

They really need to stop getting people who don't do interviews for a living to do interviews. Arnie was cool, but cmon just let Eddie/DC/Brundle do every interview.

Ask all the drivers that have done it. If you are faster then you get outside 1 sec and the problem goes away.

I don't think he managed it once.

Actually, he might be retired, but it's the British Grand Prix: get Murray out there.

Agreed. Mix it up with Kai Ebel and the other major broadcast journalists too at their respective home races.

Ericsson before race: - We have very much chance for points

Ericsson after race. Every race: - I don´t know what happened. Sure points slipped through our fingers.

I'm not arguing Massa was faster. I'm arguing that Bottas wouldn't be either. They would've switched places and Massa would be the one getting the DRS advantage and staying right behind Bottas.

(all of that of course only if it was a clean move like the team wanted without anyone losing any considerable time)

If they were unlucky a move that is maybe not as clean as the team wanted would've meant Hamilton slipping through
