The "FREE to a good home" Thread

I'm not sure if there are any sports fans here or not, but I have some Sports Cards to give away to a collector ONLY. I have thousands of cards but they aren't kept in good condition. Every now and then I go through them and pluck out some names that stand out to me. I brought a stack to work with me to determine their value (which is not much), but these are still cool cards for anyone who is a fan.

You must already be a card collector to claim these.

I have:

Larry Bird - Fleer '89
Rod Carew - A.L. AL-STAR Topps '81
Darryl Strawberry - FLEER STAR STICKERS '87
Nolan Ryan - Donruss '89
Barry Bonds - Donruss '88
Ozzie Smith - Donruss '88
Patrick Ewing - NBA HOOPS '89
Cal Ripken - Donruss '88
Don Mattingly - FLEER STAR STICKERS '87
Herschel Walker - Topps '87 (Rookie Card)

I'd like to send them all together, and to qualify I need to see a picture of an existing collection. I'm not sending these to rot in a box somewhere.

Huge sports fan here... I collect all kinds of cards (sports, coins, stamps). Let me find my camera to take a digital photo to show you.

My father has been collecting baseball cards since he was a kid and has a pretty nice sized collection but now he only keeps a book of yankees so i know he would love the Mattingly and i wouldn't mind the Ewing :P

so if your willing to split it up and only send those two that would be cool but if not im sure i could find a use for the others

don't have pics of my dads collection and this is the only book i have going right now

I can't seem to find my camera right now, which really sucks... :( George you can have the great collection offered by Serph. You're really great Serph. :) I think your Father will love it as he has a large collection.

Although I'm a Knicks/Ewing fan, but you can have it all. :)

well, george only wants the Mattingly/Ewing cards, so you can have the rest if you want! Both of you PM me your addresses and I will sent them today or tomorrow.

Jabra 125 Headset (Same as the Warhawk version I think) hardly used, works fine but a little uncomfortable for my ear shape.
1st PM can have it. Oh and UK/Europe only please.

Its perfectly cool and fine with me if you send the whole set to George. Thanks though man. I know George's Father will love the rest of the set. I'll remember this kindness. :) Also it'll save you on shipping. :)

Just a heads up gonna have some stuff to give out next week, but I think I'll only be giving it away to people that havent got much if anything from this thread as I often see a lot of the same faces in here, and also probably not to any juniors.

Will have to think of something to force the lucky beggar to do, like a dancing monkey, before they get the prize though :lol

I don't understand, what does the code do exactly?

Does it let you download just the multiplayer portion of the game? or do you have to have the original game or what?
 
It would be a pain in the ass to get these running on my computer, so I'll put them up for grabs here before pitching them. I'll send the games and the manuals but throw out the boxes.

The boxes aren't in particularly good shape. They have significant water damage that doesn't really show in the photo. Anyway...
