I'd be willing to pay part of the shipping cost (or even the whole of it if something really interests me).

btw, I have a PAL copy of Deus Ex (sealed) to give away. it's a reprint, there's no booklet. I'm giving it away because I accidentaly received 2 copies, for 2€.

Preferrably for Euro members (shipping from france).

(will get back online a a few hours, with a pic)

Rules are: Post when you get it, send it to the next person on the list. PM them and, three days starting from the PM, if they don't reply, move on to the next person. If a person is skipped, they can say something and be readded to the bottom of the list.

There's no real rule about how long you should hold on to it, because people are busy and busting someone's chops for not sending it the day they get it seems like an assholish thing to do. Just use your best judgment and don't keep it too long, as other people are waiting for it, too.

Again, thanks to a Master Ninja for sending out the original disc in the first place.

FreeLoader is a disc that allows GameCube users to play out of region games on your GameCube. Usually games and game systems are specified to certain regions depending on the country location. FreeLoader opens up the region for all games to be played.

Nah, we thing we're too cool for that! Yeah, I'm actually surprised at how quick it was.. still haven't recieved Dead Space so maybe I was lucky that this crept through customs or something.. Anyway, great stuff, thanks :)
 
OK folks. So I've made a decision and I am now offering my Dreamcast collection here "Free to a good home". I tested the systems this weekend. They both boot and run games fine. The import one sounds a bit noisy when accessing the disk, but it still played OK. VMU's and likely the systems will need new batteries. I'm not using any of the stuff, don't want to sell it and would rather someone who's going to use the system(s)/games have them. Some of my games went to a friend a while back, but I'm putting up everything else. Note: I accidentally put several Import titles in the US side... sorry.

How do you try and get the DC goodies? Simple. Go here and look through some of the games released on the Dreamcast: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Dreamcast_games

Using the game titles (first letter only) spell out for me: "SEGA DREAMCAST"
- Do not use the exact same game twice -

For example, if I said spell "NEOGAF" you'd send me this.

Also, select a final tiebreaker game. Can be any game on the list of your choice. If you don't include one, you're not entered. P.M. me your selections please. STRICTLY one PM per person... if you send me more than one PM for any reason, including "Oops I forgot this".. umm... you guessed it, you're not entered. Really, I'm not trying to be an ass about this, but just want to be clear and fair to those that can properly take a moment to follow a few simple rules. :)

So who wins? Whoever gets the most games that match my choices (I've already picked) will receive the whole kit. For letters where there's more than one - such as "S", games will need to match in order. If there's more than one person with the same number of matching choices, I use the tiebreaker (whoever is closest in the list). If no one matches any I'll pick a winner at random.

I have also decided to put a $30 shipping cap on this. If it's less, you pay less, if it's more I pay the rest. U.S. ONLY. Once again, if you win YOU WILL NEED TO PAY A MAX OF $30 SHIPPING. Will not ship until I receive the money. If not received after 2 weeks, I will pick the next closest matching person. Once the money is received I should be able to ship within a few days.

Let's run this for say, 24 hours (ends 10 AM Eastern on 8/4/09) ermm.. or until my PM box fills. I'll announce a winner by the end of the week.

The dramcast guy is making us pay shipping and I dont have a credit card or paypal :(....so I'm gonna go for this instead.

I didn't mean for it to sound like I was like "wow hes making us pay shipping, what an asshole"

I had a dyslexia moment and I thought his post said HE would pay for a maximum of 30 bucks shipping, so I was like "Fuck yeah"

But then I read it again, and realized it was the other way around.

So no, I'm not some douchebag whose like "Cmon man, don't pay shipping" Its just that I have no means of paying him the shipping.

Well to clarify, I was actually trying to be nice by capping it @ $30 rather than paying up to $30. I'm in Connecticut and if I have to ship all this to Cali it could actually be pretty expensive for the winner. This stuff is heavy. Figured this way people knew what they may have to help out with and I cover the rest. *shrug*

I was actually about to pull the trigger and buy a Dreamcast off eBay last night, blut I'm glad I waited. Probably won't win the contest, but hey, it's a chance to get one for "free". :D

I would like to be added to the Fallout DLC list. I have some spare goozex points and plan on getting the second DLC disk. I will pay if forward here if no one else offers it up by the time I get it.

Whoever gets the Dreamcast collection should be forever indebted to Cahill; I'm just sad I've never offered anything here before.
