PC Gamer had the exclusive last month. 94% if I recall though I don't have the issue on me right now.

I posted this in the TF2 thread, don't know if its new or old but here. Meet the Demoman.
LOL I'm guessing you didn't buy and pre-load BioShock via Steam...fistfulofmetal said:Luckily I've already pre-loaded my games!
No waiting for me.

That was when Steam was in it's infancy. It's better now.fistfulofmetal said:Huh
I wasn't aware of that.
Well it doesn't matter, I won't get to play it until around 2pm tomorrow

In the case of BioShock they also held back a final percentage of the code so there was still some downloading to do come release time.drizzle said:You still have to decrypt the files, and to do so, steam connects to a server and asks for the key.
It's listed on Steam with a standalone price of $29.95.Forsete said:Uh Vavle. When will you let me buy EP2 seperatly? Have you seriously forgotten all of us which already own HL2 + Ep1, or are you hoping we will buy HL2 + E1 once again? :lol

MrCompletely said:So, since there have been patches and actual gameplay changes to TF2 since it went gold, will Valve be updating the 360 version with the same changes (see:uberpyro)?
Y2Kev said:Okay, playing on the 360:
I had to turn the sensitivity up. The controls felt too floaty. Played HL2 on PC.
Graphically I think it's very pretty. I'm wish there was a little more AA, but whatever, the image is almost immaculate. The animation is great so far.
I love alyx.
LOVE the scenario design so far.

Pretty sure I'll be entirely too busy playing Alan Wake, MGS4 and the like to worry about mods for ancient games.pxleyes said:say that in a year when the user made content is through the roof on the PC.
Thanks for the impressions! Only a couple more days before my copy arrives.Y2Kev said:The controls are still a little more floaty than I'm accustomed to. The weight that Halo 3 has isn't there, but HL2 is a faster playing game. I would have played on PC if this was three years ago and I had a good PC. But I think the 360 version is by no means bad!
I'm not crazy about the weapon select wheel. Though I do like that the weapon comes up right as you move to it. For some reason I was remembering HL2 as like, scroll to the weapon and then hit a confirmation button.
This is really a masterful example of linear game design. Linearity is not bad. Thank you Valve.

Fair point. If I were primarily a PC death-matcher, then I'm sure I'd be joining in on the fun.blackadde said:speak up, i can't hear you over the massive throng of counterstrike / gmod / tfc / dod / etc. players.
