She came in second last year in some big UK poll of the next Big acts of 2011 (right behind Jessie J...*laughs*), but strangely she never really popped off.
I've listened to a few tracks from her album Light After Dark and I enjoyed them, and I LOVED both of the singles:
The Last Dance (A beautiful ode to Michael Jackson, which she wrote the night after she heard he passed.)
The Shield and the Sword
Still gets rotation on my iPod. I just adore her voice - very reminiscent of Florence Welch, but darker and a bit richer. Heck, her entire image makes you think she could be Florence's evil twin. That might be exactly why she didn't take off, though. Between Florence and now Lana, Epic Pop seems to be spoken for.

That's so dumb. Like most, I agree that KK is a good looking attention whore who does nothign, but throwing flour on her is stupid. Especially in the dumb way she did it. Why not actually throw several handfuls of flour, instead of failing at pouring it on her hair. I mean, it'd probably hurt like a bitch in her eye, but this dumb female only got it on some clothes. Great work.
