Holy crap, guys. I likely won't ever play this game but I have ALL the respect for this guy turning his pain into something positive for others--and I'm glad he won that award. Why are so many of you so fucking terrible?

They were very excited about a game about kid dying of cancer...Jesus Christ.

Fucking idiots. Dicks.

Excited that it's getting recognition. This isn't hard...

With that said, as a father of young children, I simply cannot bring myself to play this game.

I really feel you shouldn't pick some youtubers for that category. Maybe someone more serious and less jokey?

They probably don't know the story of the game or its development so don't know they are making fun of a real person who experienced real tragedy and put that pain into a game.

Hey look, Keighley, someone who experienced an actual tragedy.

This is heavy stuff.

And the fucking idiot audinece is cheering like on a sports match or concert.

You dont do that during this type of part, you just applaud silently and respectfully.

That was a very touching speech but I still don't feel as if it told me much about the game.

Admittedly I wasn't paying as much attention as I should be.

I can't even get there in m head, let alone play this.
Anything with kids in peril is off limits since having one myself.
(Inside was nearly too much)

Awkward emotional whiplash going from a razor Robot, youtubers cheerily presenting an award to a guy give his heart while accepting the award for a game about dealing with his son's cancer and back to more game ads.

Isnt this game supposed to be weird and rather bad?
It's a hard game to connect with.

It's a really unique game because it's most definitely telling the story of Ryan and Amy, and there's faith stuff mixed in, and of course the uniqueness of a child having cancer. It's not a game that everyone will like.
He's taking this too seriously.
His child died. How could he not take this seriously you shithead.
