The GTA 5 Trailer Talk Thread

Hyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyype

Knew it would be Los Santos/Vinewood, and it simply looks impeccable. Cannot fucking wait.

Why is CJ running from that helicopter? Looks gorgeous.

That seems like a visual reference to San Andreas. If CJ popped up in this game with Vercetti, that would be fucking awesome.

Rumor has it, you'll be playing as multiple characters so I wouldn't dismiss anything just yet..

The graphics as seen on my PC are nothing short of spectacular. I don't know what the rest of the game will be like but if that's what it's going to look like then exploring every nook and cranny of San Andreas is going to be a total joy.

Looks like you'll be playing multiple characters this time. I really don't care for the location. Rockstar is always good at playing up a location. I'm more interested in how they'll shape the plot this time.

Well that was... surprisingly unremarkable. Although I'm glad we're back in a palm trees and beaches setting after Vice City.

Wow those visuals are amazing, really makes me wonder if the rumor about this being a launch title for the next gen are true.

Here is hoping for a PC release

Looks fucking awesome, I really liked it. Not as powerful as 4 one, but I'm more hyped for the game I seeing through those scenes. Really looking for it.

Another guy that just wants to settle down and live life slowly by killing as many people as he possibly can? Awesome. Never understood that about GTA protags. The story and your actions never make sense when looked at together. That's why Tommy Vercetti was the best. He loved killing people and stealing things so it made sense with the story.

Still gonna buy it day one. :)

multiple or customizable main character?

They didn't really show one.

Good trailer, I'm not going all "Oh my god" just yet. It's GTA, it'll be good but not without lot's of flaws.

The setting is absolutely amazing and it look like a huge game. Probably the size of San Andreas, but by depicting LA and it's surroundings instead of 3 cities. I'm getting a vibe of the game being a fusion of GTAIV+the liberty stories+ a little bit of San Andreas while keeping a realistic approach.

I don't know how anyone can say "nothing impressive in the trailer"...the graphics are a HUGE improvement over GTAIV. It looks unbelievable. Hopefully the "meh" comments are more about the setting and lead character and not the visuals because they're insane. I love the setting tho...gonna be so much to do and it's so colorful

I am getting that vibe from watching it for the 5th time. Honestly, this looks fucking incredible. The foreclosure signs, homeless everywhere, hookers, crop dusters dusting immigrant workers..shit is going to be insane.
It doesn't sound like Ray Liotta though. It would be weird/random to get a different voice actor.

Disappointed with the revisiting of old locations, but California looks great.

Looks like we got L.A, the national parks and San Francisco...wonder whether we will get the Nevada desert as well?

A lot of the video looks like CG to some extent. The lighting looks really good.

Hollywood is a good location choice: it has what Vice City had anyway, with beaches and palm trees and such, but also mountains and all that. So it's really the best choice.

The visuals are nice, but count me in the not sold pile. Why does Rockstar think they're such good storytellers?

Oh man that looks really, really pretty. Seems too serious again though, and getting a bit tired of the fish-out-of-water story that seems to set up every one.

Nothing next gen about those graphics.

I remember hearing that rumour about multiple characters? Could this be the case here?

I saw 2 separate people in the trailer who I thought could have been the main character. It's not actually clear. I saw that old guy, and some Latino looking fella with a vest.

I may be reading too much into it.

In the past GTA has pulled its influence from movies and TV shows. Maybe this is goingto be like the movie Crash?
