That's cause Turn A, X and Sumo are the only good designs in the show. I went though most of Turn A going "Well what the fuck is that thing?" whenever they brought in a new mech.

Turn A has a pretty fantastic design, yes. I still have yet to put together my MG Turn- A though :/ Way too many Gunplay gone unassembled here... MG Turn A, MG Zeta 2.0, Gundam Mk 2 and Zeta RG.. eesh. I've got issues.

Having appeared in ZZ, Turn A and Unicorn, it already demolishes your favorite.
The Kapool is awesome. I haven't seen the show yet, but what I've seen of the Turn A designs is pretty great- the Turn A itself and it's glorious mustache fin, the Turn X and the Sumo are all pretty rad.
For my money, the coolest suit designs are from Unicorn, G and IBO.
Turn A, Age and Reco-G all look pretty rad from the kits I've seen, but I haven't seen enough of the shows yet.
Wing, a lot of what I've seen out of Victory, 00 and Seed are probably my least favorite.

The handholding scene with Kira and Athrun on the orb pod fleeing was great as well as Clotho scenes. They were such a great addition after the breaking up of Athruns team. And soon is my favorite Lacus team with all the bests gathered.
I had never noticed Azrael background scenes thrust in before, I wish more was detailed than just show in quick pics.

Of course it's a matter of taste lol goes with out saying.
I don't care for Kapool but I adore ZZ and am always sad it's the least beloved lead from UC.

Well, ZZ is pretty goofy. It's very Super Robot for a UC Gundam series. But I think FAZZ fixes that, and FAZZ is glorious.
Though a lot of the suits from the first Neo Zeon War are crazy. Quinn Mantha, Ex-S, MK V, Hamma Hamma, etc
We talking Sentinel FAZZ or Judah FAZZ? Honestly Sentinel FAZZ is cool but the color scheme doesn't work for me.

It was Haman giving in. She wanted to die, wanted it over. The novels make it clear that Haman knew how to destroy them all, to bring the Federation to its knees, but she was so exhausted, never wanted it, she wanted Axis to be treated fair, and she wanted Char to know how much better she was than he. The novels get into more of the stuff covered by CDA between Char and Haman.

They were churning out new models regularly even Zeta ended up being outclassed in ZZ.
Zechs has to be Char from MSG, Z/ZZ/Char's Counterattack which is why he's so random at times.
Both Seed and Wing are loose reimaginings of the UC. Wing does MSG-CC in one 50 episode series while SEED does MSG and Zeta in 2 50 episode series, so it doesn't have that problem.

Relena has a much more Regal and Boss presence in Frozen so she kinda is there.

Zeta was outclassed due to an inexperienced pilot, not the MS. Amuro piloted a Zeta in the first Neo Zeon war for Karaba and was incredibly successful.

In Green Divers (Imax multi screen movie), Evolve and in manga. The MG Amuro Zeta also came with a booklet detailing some of his exploits.
You still had like 11 original mobile suits that appeared in that show.
Tell me about it. I just finished the Altron that I had since November yesterday.
Personally I felt that it was a downgrade from the Zeta, the headsculpt especially. Zeta had one of the best looking faces.

There should really be some sort of "if it didn't happen in the show" argument clause.
I haven't. Reviewed as a good but simple kit with accessories it can barely use due to their awkward design.

That's ridiculous. The Gundam expanded universe is massive. And very important. At one time Unicorn and T-bolt were just a novel and a manga after all.Plus even still my argument would stand since Green Divers was a movie and Evolve is on DVD(and that one has an english release).
But the Gundam universe has extended past the anime since its inception. The novels started in 1979, the entertainment bibles in the 80s gave us our first details on all of the political infighting in Zeon military contracting and showed us that the war effort was a lot more than White Base, etc

Zeonic puts up a lot scanlations. They have the 0083 adaptation, Hathaway and Beltochika going right now.
