Seeing Mckellan back in action as Gandalf the Grey... wow.

I have never read the Hobbit or LOTR.
I definitely agree, that trailer didn't hype me up at all. Seems we're in the minority here though, judging from the other comments. What a weirdly paced/edited trailer
None of the dialogue made any sense together, and there's no sense of what's going on. I don't even have even the most basic idea of what the plot is about
No pictures of Evangeline Lilly's character yet?

The Hobbit is the only books of the series I never read. I need to fix that between now and next December.
This is not how I pictured Thorin. Isn't he supposed to have a big beard? He looks more like a man, more like Strider than a dwarf. Still looked bad ass though.
Anyone else notice the Dwarve's song sounded like this?
My nerd boner is fully stoked.
Yeah, earnings from next year is going to be hard for the movie industry to downplay in order to talk about piracy. My body is ready, got chills from the end of the trailer. Looks like it's going to be a amazing.
Batman, prometheus and the hobbit all in one year, i'm fucking hyped.
