The hype around Starfield is massive, and growing.

Known this for a while. It's basically Contact. They literally have a theologian in your main Constellation group in the direct they showed.

That could be cool if it's handled intelligently. Just hope there isn't some writer's self-insert that's a mouthpiece for their philosophy or something.

Edit:The posts around this one(and this post) were in reference to a thread that had a spoiler on the title and spoilers within it. It was merged into this thread.

Damn, this is the one time a Starfield thread actually feels like a big spoiler, moreso than the leaks thread. Then again maybe I haven't been paying enough attention to the media around it, idk.

A part of me is sad to have read this because I could have seen it as a big reveal/twist depending on how heavily it's featured in the game.

Damn I'm glad I dodged that spoiler, assuming it's not fake and everyone is in on the joke.

Guess it's time to go on a bit of blackout as I want to enjoy the story as much as possible.

I'm glad I don't know what you're talking about. Some motherfuckers love posting spoilers. I'm done with this thread until the game comes out.

It could be about sufficiently advanced aliens. Think something on the level of Space Odyssey 2001 or the aliens from the Expanse novels.
