You will write a well written, well constructed paper of 5-7 pages (typed, double spaced), identifying and explaining:

a) Your issue and its importance
b) The candidates' stance on this issue
c) How conservative and liberal thinkers view this issue
d) Your personal opinion (well defended) on this issue

I have little over a day left to do this and I haven't started yet...

Just finished one for Shakespeare, 7 pages due tommorow. I now have one, 4 pages, and two one page papers for Archaeology due tommorow that I have not yet started.

All I got for the Vernal Equinox was this stupid tag
I'm working on finishing up my JET application paper right now. Halfway done, but can't figure out what to write for the remaining page. :\ The entire thing is due in Washington, D.C. by Dec. 1, so I'm going to overnight this sucker tomorrow just to be sure.

Two weeks left of classes, and I've got:

-A two-page paper due Tuesday for my Media class. It'st taking 10 pictures from newspapers and writing on something about the image they present. Sounds easy enough.

-A two-page group paper due next thursday in my FRESHMAN (I'm a senior!) science class. There's three of us in the group; I suck at this class and may have to retake it next semester, I haven't even SEEN one group member, and the other one "doesn't like working in groups" and wanted to do it by herself last time I talked to her. This will be fun. :p

-Another two-page paper for the same class due December 16 (the day of the final and hopefully the last day of college EVER for me) that hasn't been assigned yet. More fun awaits!

-A 5 page paper on Mandarin Chinese due in about two weeks. I have a lot of information so I'm not too worried about it.

-A 3 page paper on a non-native speaker of English you know personally due at the same time. I already have all the information I need to write it though.

-A short review of a foreign film also due in the same class; going to do it on either Hero or GITS Innocense.

I guess it could be worse.

The last written assignment I had to do was on Monday of last week. I can slack off for two weeks now before finals, at which point I will study just before my tests.

I have a major research project due tomorrow that I have yet to begin. Or, that is to say, I have done the research for it (I had to give a presentation on it last week), but there are so many different parts to the final written project, and I have done absolutely none of them.

So I have a big research project due tomorrow.

A big research project presentation next Monday (12/6).

A 6-8 page paper due 12/9.
An 8 page paper due 12/9.

A big research project due in two weeks (12/13).
An extra paper due for that same class on 12/13.
A university archive document transcription due for that same class on 12/13.

One final exam 12/21.

I have to write an essay about the Linux vs Windows security.

WTF I'M NOT IN ENGINEERING TO WRITE ESSAYS.

You'll be writing plenty of them when you get to the real world (if you have any level of responsibility) - and what does an engineer have to know about LInux or Windows security?

I don't mean to alarm you but you have dogs on your face
I procastinate like fucking crazy. Throughout most of college I'd procrastinate to the point of having to pull a lot of all-nighters and last-minute papers, but last year and especially last semester it got so bad to the point where I just couldn't pull it off anymore and papers ended up not getting done.

I've got to write a three page argumentative essay and create an axiom system tonight.

It's gonig to be painfully fun. Or something.

That sounds pretty light to me.

Yes, I know this isn't much but I don't want to do it anyways.

I have some stupid essay due on Lord of the Flies on Wednesday I believe, which means I have to start finding quotes like a mother and all this other crap.

I'm only 150 words into my project, and on my second bottle of Bawls.
It's going to be a long night.

The thing is I could probably whip this up pretty quickly, but just the thought of the mind-numbing boredom involved in trying to organize this information and write fucking ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHIES is just killing me.

I can't bring myself to do it. :lol

Yeah, it's the boredom that's keeping me behind too. I just don't give a damn about this subject, and it totally shows.

This thread makes me so happy I'm done with all the bullshit I had to go through the last 3 years.

Now all I'm worrying about is which videogame to start playing next (Wild Arms 3? FF9? FF10? Half-Life 2? Kill.Switch?) and how I'm gonna plan my next move on a hot chick I've been seeing lately. SUCK IT YOU BASTARDS!

I haven't really procrastinated anything for a long while, I have enough trouble making my deadlines as it is.

I'm following a class called Algorithms, Data Structures & Complexity, it's really interesting but also a ton of work. Right now I have a Red-Black tree assignment due, good thing a started last week already...
I also have a few OpenGL assignments coming up for another course, I did some preparations for those as well. Furthermore, tons of studying to do on distributed systems (Plan9!) and various networking protocols.
You can't procrastinate all this, it's just too much.

don't be a history major. not only do you never learn anything (except random shit you can say at nerd parties to sound intelligent) you also never do anything, but you have to write 10-15 page papers on stuff (which is basically "hey i'm reading these writings and here is my opinion on them"). I have a topic where I knew the answer like as soon as I started the research, so I haven't had any reason to do any of the work between starting the topic and writing the rough draft, which is due on wednesday. it's like english classes, only you're forced to do more work and they hate creativity.

Yeah, the lack of regular work as a history major is both a blessing and a curse. On the one hand, it's nice not having to worry about assignments every other day. On the other hand, long stretches of inactivity make me far less willing to do the work once the time comes.

By the way, I finished that project and handed it in with a little less than an hour to spare. I did most of the work after waking up this morning (around 11:30), though. :D

Wario64

works for Gamestop (lol)
Bleh, I spent all this time last night preparing for a presentation that I was suppose to do today but because the fuckheads before me decided to spend the entire class presenting theirs, I get bumped to next Monday. I could have procastinated more :(

I have a paper that's due on Wednesday that still needs fine-tuning, yet here I am.

The worst time I procrastinated though was in HS on a fate/free will paper. I waited until 11:00 the night before it was due to start.
At about 2 AM, I got bored and turned the TV on and decided to watch Celebrity Deathmatch. It being 2 AM, and my being on a sugar high, I had an idea. I rewrote the whole paper as a "Fate vs. Free Will: Fight Night" kinda thing. Finished at 4 AM, slept until 10, went to class, and turned the paper in two hours late. I got an A.
