Fuck you Puzzle Craft and your heroin like addiction.

I want those 3 days back.. I built that damn castle.. and I feel ashamed of myself for neglecting my family.

On the Conan O'Brien rating system I give it a 484XRT out of a possible 99 1/2 points.

Only play if you like crack, snickers bars and bacon.

Hex is tricky to learn at first no doubt. If there was a single thing I would improve across the board it's tutorials. I would give an interactive tutorial and then literally play them through an entire game if they want. No better way to learn.

Can't believe you don't have Summoner Wars though. That game is soooo good. Since you like Hero Academy so much I think you would really love it.

I do! I even got that sale pack.

I built my Puzzle Craft castle over the weekend, but them I realized I wasn't TRULY done. You can buy workers one at a time, even after you've bought all the houses. So I bought the ~20 workers I still needed, and hired them into all my open roles. Every single worker slot is now filled!

...and now I wait for an update.

Hey, Mikey Shorts is fun. It's a beat the clock kind of platformer, so if you like League of Evil, chances are you will like this. Controls are pretty good.

I deleted Puzzle Craft. I had to do that with Pocket Planes and Tiny Tower as well. Having them on the phone meant it was to easy to load it.. when you find yourself checking it at red lights... time to delete.

I know this is a me problem, but these carrot-on-a-stick games plug into my brain core like a fat dude on an eskimo pie.

Damn, I've never been that addicted to them, lol. Lately I've actually been pretty bad with checking them even once a day.

It's more one of those things where I find myself playing it when I should be doing something else, like driving, working, playing with the kids.. etc.

Just got home from work and noticed on the TA new app feed that NOVA 3 is 69p / 99c, well worth that price even if you only play the first level.

Just go the "no strings" glitch in puzzle craft. I hate when this shit happens, it happened to me in pocket planes, where I lost all my data and now this shit in puzzle craft! I put so much time into this fucking game and now it's all gone! That's it, the game is getting deleted from my phone never to be played again, and I was looking forward to the update... No way I put all that time into this game again!!!

Sorry buddy-that sucks. It's kind of how I feel about glitched Achievements. Now I have to look at the game in GameCenter with that 19/20 number forever and there's nothing I can do about it.

Is there any way to buy (oxymoron incoming) IAP outside the application? I want to buy the last campaign in Ravenmark, but I keep getting "Error connecting to the iTunes Store".

I think we will see a lot of praise here soon. I like it a lot.

Yep, me too. I saw it earlier and decided to take a shot on it. I think it controls even better than Pizza Boy or whatever that one was called. It's just so fun to speed through the levels.

I just noticed that TouchArcade gave it a perfect review as well:

If you don't trust TA, don't worry. Give it a download anyway, I really think most of you guys would love it.

Played some more, and it's up there with the best iOS platformers. Controls are certainly the best.

A bunch of other sites gave 5/5 too (it's on the Appstore description). Doesn't mean a lot in the iOS world, but most people seem to be digging a lot.

What iOS device and iOS version are you on? Are you using a jailbreaked device? We'll try to help you get that last campaign as best we can, but more information would definitely be useful.

thinking about picking up puzzle craft, but the thought of hefty battery drain scares me. 4S is pretty shit on battery already, :(

btw: do you need to really dig puzzle games to enjoy it? I'm terrible at 'seeing ahead' for this genre :S

Try logging out of your AppleID through the settings.app and logging back in.

Yeah, its very demanding on the battery. My 3GS can run out of juice in two hours playing that game.

You dont need to 'see ahead' in this type of game, unless you wanna get the absolute most out of every match. You should be fine, the game isnt very demanding.

FreeMyApps is on fire atm. Tons of sponsor apps. I won two $10 itunes cards in the past month.

Yeah FreeMyApps has been great recently. I'm up to $26 in Amazon gift cards from them, most of which has been in the past 2 months. I pop on and check it a few times a day, and in some ways it's become one of my favorite "games" I play on my iPad.

Zookeeper Battle is a great time. I wish they gave you more than just 2 plays at a time, but it's not a big deal, I suppose.

Edit: I do find it incredibly annoying that there seems to be no effort towards matching you against similarly skilled opponents. My rank moves between 400 and 1,000, and in 5 games I played two separate people who were under 30, and a guy who was in the 1800s (the highest I've seen yet). It's just no fun playing someone who can kill you in two turns while not taking any damage at all.

They've got a ranking system in place, is it that hard to use it in match making?

I know, I know, that's why it's so tempting. I've got 1 and 2 in iMame, do I really need 3?

I think the answer is yes.

Fuck it, I'm getting it now.

Dungeon Raid is the best iOS game I have played.

Bonkey Trek is the funniest.

Version 1.1 out today, adds GC leaderboard and perhaps the most interesting use of IAP I've seen yet.

Bonkey Trek is fucking dumb, I tried it because of your post and all I can say is you're lucky it was free man.

Can anyone confirm that Blutrol 2.0 supports the Wii Classic controller ?
http://www.ringwald.ch/cydia/blutrol/

WiiRemote is listed in the compatible peripherals list, but not the nunchuck and Wii CC/CCP.

I've searched but couldn't find an answer.

I just downloaded the update so I haven't really had time to play around with it yet, but this is what comes up when going into the Wiimote option:

I didn't have a Wiimote synced at the time. Maybe the whole thing changes if you have a CCP attached, but I wouldn't count on it.

Edit: I looked through the other controllers listed in Blutrol, and the Phonejoy (which I'd never heard of before) is the one with the most buttons shown on screen:

Phonejoy's website. It looks like a dual shock, basically, and it costs $49.90. Absent in the Blutrol config is the ability to map the analog sticks (I guess Blutrol isn't compatible with analog, as mentioned above in this thread). I'm interested in looking into this a little farther, though honestly I think the only thing that could get me to buy another controller for my iPad is if I could use it to play FPS and twin stick shooters, etc. Which doesn't seem likely, unless it's done game by game, the way the iCade works without Blutrol, as opposed to being a catchall solution.

Thanks. I'll wait for CC support then (if it happens). I have a BT keyboard but it isn't great for gaming.
