Hi All

I just completed Pizza Boy & I want more. Does anyone know if a sequel is planned?

Also, is there any decent games similar that are worth checking out?

I am currently playing Lep's World 2 & I will be complete it in no time because it's far too easy.

Is the Great Giana Sisters game identical to the DS version?

i believe so but they did something to the visuals, the girls look less pixel art and more rendered and the level tiles seem to have had a filter over them, but it's a good platformer.

Hey guys, I'm having a problem purchasing Wimp: Who Stole My Pants?

I was buying some apps in anticipation for my iPhone 5. Bought Fruit Ninja, Infinity Blade 2, Super Hexagon, Agent Dash and Camera+

But when I tried buying wimp, it says "Please contact iTunes support to complete this transaction" ive signed out, restared my laptop and nothing works."

even bought another app after this to check if it was with everything- and other purchases went fine.

anyone know whats up?

I seem to recall some discussion over on TA about the game not yet being compatible with the new device. Can't say you're missing much, to be honest.

Have it running with no problems on my iPhone 5, maybe it was being modified at the time?

I'm gonna buy a web domain in some hours and is leaning towards TouchMyGames.

What else would be awesome names?
- iOS Gaming
- iOS Touch
- Touch Games

What else?

I have done a teaser site:

I'm actually having a good time playing the HD version of Wimp on the iPad 3. It's a high production riff on Super Meat Boy, without the difficulty or the finesse of control. I know, that sounds terrible, but really the game only takes some design cues from SMB. True, this isn't the best platformer on iOS as a lot of the sites seems to be frothing in the mouth about, but it's still great for quickburst platforming.

The big problem with the game is that it seemed like it was designed for a controller. And usually, though there are a few physics puzzles that require such fast button presses that the controls can't handle. And this isn't to start another round of moaning about a physical controller for the ipad. Really, the solution is pretty simple: Make the jump button and the sticky button, the same button. Would solve a lot of problems I'm having with controls.

Personally I'd recommend going for something more unique. Anything with "touch" in the title will blend in with all the other iOS gaming sites out there. I don't have any good ideas for titles at the moment, but RockPaperShotgun and Giant Bomb are good examples of the kind of thing I'm thinking about. They stand out.

Yeah, it's definitely a good platformer, but it didn't really draw me in for some reason. I guess mainly, I just had issues with the controls. You'd push in one direction and jump, and he'd decide to go in a different direction and die instead.

Any playing any Japanese games? I'm playing a card type Pokemon game where you can craft equipment and call match-make with other people when you run into dragons.

I'm still learning the contents of the game but it's been very fun.

Dragon Sphere (ドラゴンスフィア)

To me, it's a very generic name and makes me think of those spam sites on Google searches.
Noted. I just really can't come up with a name but I can always change it later on as of now it will work more as a test for me and my education.

I just got my iPhone 5. Haven't been into iOS gaming in a while.

I need some recommendations for strategy games. I like Paradox games and Civ and the like on PC. Also any hex war games would be cool as well.

Civ Revolution
Ravenmark
Starbase Orion

Are by far the best TBS games on the platform. If that's what you're into.

I have no where to turn to because search engines handle the name "1000000" poorly. Is there some sort of bug that prevents the score form increasing?

Is there a solutions. My iphone is stuck at 79,000 and my ipad is stuck at 269,000 roughly.

Still pretty addicted to Guardian Cross. If I have time to get on my iPad, I play it.

I kind of feel like playing a more console-level game lately, though. Considering GTA3 or China Town.. are the controls as bad as they look for driving? And some reviews mention losing their save state, that would suck.

Thanks for the feedbacks.

I'm thinking FunWithNoButtons? Screen Is All? There Here Button Where?

None of them are very snappy, except Screen Is All, and that doesn't really read well. Your best bet is a play on words, something like how "Slide to Play" did it, they took a term people were familiar with (slide to unlock) and modified it for gaming in a catchy way. Might help to just make a list of all the terms you can think of for iOS gaming or iOS in general. Virtual Controls, on-screen d-pad, anything you can think of. Most will be junk but something might jump out

Yeah. I'll try write down a list tomorrow and see what I can come up with.

This pixelated art style needs to stop now. It was a novelty but now it just makes it look like the game has bad graphics.
No, it doesn't. There's good pixel art and there's bad pixel art like there's good and bad whatever. I'd say Star Command is on the good end for the most part, just some minor elements aren't very good. Lots of detail and charm. Anyway, bad art is bad art whether it's pixel based or not so it's not like it would necessarily be an improvement for sure if it wasn't pixel art.

Can't say I agree with you there. I loves me some polygons, but I'm certainly not tired of good pixel art.

In any case, though I enjoyed the preview, especially the dig toward IAP, I wasn't blown away by the video. To be honest, earlier screens with gun fights got me more excited. No matter, I'm sure it will be great. Glad these guys are having fun making it. That usually shines through.

I've been out of the iOS gaming scene for a bit, but XCOM has me chomping at the bit for a good turned-based strategy game. Is there something like that out there for iPad?

Actually, I quite like FunWithNoButtons. It might be a bit long-winded though. But no buttons is a good theme.

My personal suggestion would be SweatyFingertips.com
