Damn. It's huge for a CCG.
It includes the Embers movie. So it's more a CCG + Free movie
I remember that you could more or less easily get enough credits to get new cards/boosters simply by playing, is that correct? One of the HUGE criteria for free CCG's for me.
Nice. Retina update for the iPad version of Carcassonne

No point in additional content if the content looks bad. Devs should be focused on getting retina updates out ASAP

Is anyone here playing Draw Something? I'm playing with a bunch of my real life friends and having a blast with it.

LOVE it! It's not very competitive, but it's often times hilarious.
Yeah Draw Something is pretty fun. Don't know if anyone remembers a few pages back I asked for a game to play with the girlfriend over wifi. This is it. NEEDS a competitive mode, though.
Yeah, I was thinking about that. Like, how could they make it competitive? The person you are playing with could make it so you could never guess (not fun), someone could simply draw the letters to the answer (not fun). I agree though, if it was competitive, like scramble, I'd totally be hooked. Right now I am just playing the free version for some fun.
I remember playing a game like it online, and it gave like 10 points to the person who guessed the drawing first and 2 points to the person who was drawing it, to encourage proper drawing. Could work like that? You get rewarded for guessing right and also have intent to draw properly.
I've got about 20 games going in Draw Something so far. Only problem I have with the game is if you play a lot, you start to see repeats of words in the past. They need to update with 1000 new words to draw to keep the variety going. Last night it was hilarious, a girl I know was having problems with her sketch because she was drunk. Drunken Draw Something is hilarious. Also, if you really want a challenge, only draw the medium and hard words for added difficulty.
I don't know where my price cutoff actually is but when the price gets high the following factors start kicking in hard:Why would you avoid games that are $8.99 or more? Sure, "fling-x,y,z" or "run/jump" games are often made by smaller dev teams on a smaller budget, but the more fully-featured games are going to cost more. If MS suddenly announced a wealth of $0.99 card games on XBLA, are you going to stop buying the other stuff? You often get what you pay for...

I don't know if it's been said already in this thread but The Dark Meadow will be free next week.

Aralon is my favorite iOS game by far, so this excites me greatly. It seems they've updated the engine significantly since the draw distance looks a lot better - I hope they've retained 60fps for this one.First screens of Ravensword 2 (Aralon devs).

Somebody discovered the blur tool! You know what they should have caught? A consistent art style.
That joke doesn't work, but man that game looks horrible.
I have codes!
I'm probably a little more excited about this than I should be, as a professional.

In case you missed Mario's post, Monster Flip is developed by Launching Pad Games, another Kiwi studio, and published under our PikPok label. It's just come out, and is our first title published but not developed in-house.

Codes PMed.
Sorry, guys. You have to be so quick around here.
Tell your boss to tell his boss to put a GripShift game on Vita. I've given up hope for an iOS version, and would probably work better on Vita anyways!
What would it take to get Square Enix to release an Official Triple Triad app on iOS? I don't care if it would be some rip off price. We have all these crappy clones in the wild. Arena9 is good, except for the fact the in game brower has been broken for a year now.
Does Square hate money?

Thinking about it. And bringing GS to PC too.
So Miku Flick is out on the Japanese App Store, as expected. Unexpectedly, though, the title and description showed up in all English on my iPad, and English is listed as a supported language on the website. I wouldn't say this translates to the English UI being done, but it sure seems like they're a lot further along with the English version than I thought. Probably going to wait a bit and buy locally since that works out to be a lot cheaper for me, especially if it's just going to be the same app data worldwide.
Did u send all the PMs already? Just wondering since I haven't got one and I'm pretty sure I won lol.
I'm actually enjoying Flick Pig...someone here said it sucked but eh, I like it.
I was about to say, I don't need to tell my boss. He'll be along at some point soon to read it for himself
I did send you one, but for some reason it failed utterly. I've messaged you again with your code now.
