So what's the trick with scoring more than 1 Biohazard score in Plague Inc? I'm guessing that's also how you unlock new diseases? It's really annoying having to see the stupid tutorial messages every game.

You unlock the new disease types by beating the previous ones in normal or brutal difficulty, and I'm pretty sure you can shut off the messages in the options menu.

Nope, there are two options, "Sound" and "Auto pause game", nothing about turning off the tutorial messages.

Also, what is considered "beating" it? I've already "won" both Casual and Normal, I guess... I eradicated the entire population, but I only got 1 star, and nothing unlocked.

Are you sure you eradicated everyone? Because you unlock e.g. Virus by eradicating everyone on at least Normal, check if you've unlocked Virus? If not, you probably didn't kill everyone... :/

EDIT: Also I'm pretty sure that playing with a "higher difficulty" disease (such as Prions etc) will yield a higher score, so will shorter time to eradicate everyone and so will playing on a higher difficulty. Also, not using any defense-mechanism like Genetic Reshuffling will possibly also yield a higher score, as it's mentioned in the endgame-statistics.

This is intentional - we did it because, uh, some players prefer to play upside down due to, uhm, strategic value of... Aww, shucks, you got me. I'll add this to the ever-growing "fix in the next update" list.

The list really exist though and the game is actively being worked on. Earlier today I've been looking at some cutscenes we intend to add between worlds to spruce things up, so expect our updates to be really meaty. We'll try to avoid that 'minor bug-fixes' nonsense ;)

Yeah, I definitely eradicated everyone, that's how the game ended. Pretty annoying.

It's a lot of fun and works real well with touch controls.

I kind of stalled on the game 3/4 of the way through, but I am sure I will finish it one day.

not until Infinity Blade: Dungeons hits, no. I've had a bit of fun with Heroes vs Monsters, but it's nothing like that. We had this discussion a few times before, always with very disheartening results :(

It's DH2, and nothing else. Until HOPEFULLY IB:D brings something to the table.
 
I don't know anything about this game, does anyone mind explaining what the fuzz is about? Doesn't look TOO crazily priced for a Square-Enix game on iOS, or is that just my first impression? (2.99 per "episode"?)
 
Skylanders: Cloud Patrol is a good mindless time waster...worth the buck easily for this guy.

Wait times as in like FarmVille.

After a certain point you cannot play until you wait x amount of time or pay x amount of "gems" earned in game or bought w/ $$$.

The dev stopped in the TA forums and they sound like a fairly small group and seem rather reasonable so they may be open to making this somewhat more attractive.

They also hinted at long term plans for mp.
 
Subway Surfers is kinda crappy. So buggy. Unresponsive controls. Missions aren't really well thought out (one of them said to beat one of my friends but I already beat everyone prior to the mission). When I get stuck like that, I have to spend coins to unlock. Yet I still play it cause it borrows mechanics from Temple Run and Jetpack Joyride. It's not better than those games though.

I just beat your top score few mins ago. ~_~

I agree with the controls and that they can be quite unresponsive or buggy at times. I flick up and my character goes left and into an oncoming train. I don't even care for the missions, they seem pointless. I've checked them maybe once.

I love it, but mostly because I'm pretty much exhausted Jetpack Joyride - I have every single thing in the Stash purchased without having to buy coins, all gadgets, 100% of the achievements including the new ones and I'm at level 280. I could go for a better score I guess, but I always get distracted by doing the missions and those are usually counter productive to staying alive.

Anyway, back to Subway Surfers. I don't have too many problems with the controls. Once in a while it won't respond to a quick swipe, but it's pretty rare from my experience. The missions are pretty bland, and the daily missions are awful (Just collect the letters when they randomly show up every time? No more variety than that?). There seems to be a bug with the daily missions as well, I've had the countdown finish and have it sit at "Next Challenge in: 00:00:00" then not update a few times. I also had to pay to skip the beat a friend one just because no one else has it.

The Super Sneakers have got to be the worst powerup ever. They've gotten me killed more than they've saved me. The Hoverboard should be a powerup you can pick up instead.

Mystery Boxes are WAAAAAAY too infrequent too. You hardly ever see them and the characters require way too many of the items to unlock. 500 UFOs for the alien suit girl? I've got 6 and I've been playing a ton of it. And I've never unlock any of these characters.

I love the graphics and the game is really addictive, despite it's issues. I'm sure they'll iron out some of the complaints in patches. It's not better than Jetpack, but I much prefer it to Temple Run.
 
does jetpack joyride run out of missions? I went to play it the other day and it didn't have any in the missions list. My son has been playing it a lot though, so could he have exhausted all of them?

Unless you're at some crazy high level that I don't know about, no. I'm at 281 and they're still coming.

Go to your profile and see what your title is. If my memory is right the highest is "Barry". After that you won't get any more missions until you cash in your level for a badge. Then you'll start the missions cycle over again with new missions.
 
concerning Subway Surfers. It's only crashed once on me. It does seem to miss a flick gesture here and there on me. I don't even check the missions' haha.

there is just something strangely satisfying just endlessly running through the levels for me. I don't get that feeling with temple run. I wish the game could get a Jet Set Radio coat of paint, hehe.
