It's incredible, I've been in heaven the past 90 min.

Cleared original mode, saving maniac for tomorrow. This probably trumps DDP Res for most fun to play iOS Cave shmup.

Anyone know about any discounts to the high-res DDP release? I'd only ever consider getting it if it was cheap, given I already have the "SD" one. I know Cave usually whack their other stuff on sale when a new game is due.

But I honestly haven't grabbed the game and my iTunes credit is near zero. Let me get back to it soonish, I'll play the game a bit to see if we can wrap a challenge around that and if at least a few gaffers already have the game (I'll check with my friend list). I remember when we were all prepping up for MAMC and then the update we were waiting to fix the bugs also changed the scoring system from iGAF-ok to non-doable :/

There is so much competition on iOS.. I can't say I blame them for focusing on the Android market which is probably always clamoring for great titles. Beyond that, I'm guessing it must just be easier for them to port the titles to Android or something...

There are no score accelerators/multipliers in the upcoming update or otherwise planned, so should be no problems there.

Kairosoft is so frustrating to me even though I have an ios and android device.

Their "building" type games like dungeon/mall/astro? Hate them.

Their other games like Game Dev and Grand Prix? Fucking amazing!

Problem is it's hard to tell which one it's gonna be when a new one comes out.

Anyone know any others that are more like game dev or grand prix? I just fucking hate positioning buildings and all that bullshit.

It's the same price as their only other comparable HD release. I figure your only hope of a cheaper version is if they do what they did with Espgaluda II and make split up versions (arcade and smartphone modes) for $7 each. Or just buy the iPhone version for $8, which you could've had for $6 a few times already.

No, but I've played the first game on Turbo CD called J.B. Harold. Manhattan Requiem is actually the second game in the series of which there are four total. Harold was pretty good and I've always wanted to play the others. I'll definitely get this since it's on sale.

Been pretty fun. Liking the super mario rpg style blocking/attacking thing. The active reload bar thing is kinda dumb.

Game is quite repetitive, and having to mash your screen like every other turn... get's annoying.
