Cool, so you've already walked back it being "Druckmann's baby" alone, and you're slowly coming around to reality where Straley has an indispensably central role in the original TLOU. The story in the game came about because Neil's original story was straight up vetoed by Straley - and time has proven him wise. Straley counter-pitched, and helped piece together the outline that Druckmann was tasked with writing out for the original game. A lot of the stuff in the cinematics, such as dialogue, character beats, and structure, was refined further by Scherr when the cinematics was being filmed. No one's saying Druckmann doesn't have his finger prints on it, but stop trying to position TLOU as "Neil Druckmann's The Last of Us" because is really, really isn't.

... ND is not going to keep plasting Bruce's name on everything when he isn't even at their studio anymore. No one would do that...

Everyone would do that. We know this because it already happens. Film re-masters, anniversary edition books, game re-releases, No Clip documentaries, conventions; the original creators and authors are asked about and included in these things for as long as they're alive because they literally created them. Only here is this kind of erasure considered correct.

Did they rebalance loot distribution for Part 1's remaster recently? I'm at the financial district and I have an unusually large amount of ammo for a typical grounded run. I'm pretty good at the game but even so I don't ever remember doing this well before.

It's a genius way to clear off the unsold physical copies of the games in the warehouse though. Just repackage them with new boxes as "complete edition", and you have Sony fans clearing those unsold copies.
