August 8th.
Fuck... why so far away?
August 8th.
Isn't The order 1886 releasing around the same time?
I really don't care about the whole 30/60 fps discussion at this point. I trust Naughty Dog enough to know they would do it if it was feasible - there must be clear (technical) reasoning behind it.
People complaint about the price. The game is only ayear old. Aren't normal GotY versions of game full price with the DLC included. I am sure I remember Uncharted 3 GotY being full price.
Pre-order Bonuses
- 100 Supply Points (XP) for use in Factions mode
- Two special bonus skins for Joel and Ellie which will be unlocked after you complete the single player campaign
- Increased Crafting Speed for use in the Single Player Campaign
[*] Increased Healing Speed for use in the Single Player Campaign
[*] 9mm Reload Speed Increase Upgrade for use in the Single Player Campaign
[*] Rifle Clip Capacity Increase Upgrade for use in the Single Player Campaign
I think something built from the ground up by ND will work. We'll see with their next game.
Infamous SS was 60fps, iirc. It just had some framerate issues when too many explosions happened.
I'll gladly translate this as "we're also trying this to work at 60fps, but we don't want to mention it right now, in case we can't."We will be revealing more detailed information about the upgrades for the PS4 version in the coming months.
I don't care about multiplayer for this game. If there were two or more installments of single player DLC, I'd be totally on board. But just one? Nah. I'm still excited to get this and play this, just not at full price. How are people upset that it's $60? You realize it comes with $30 worth of DLC, right?
Re-read what I wrote.
So the PS3 framerate was terrible, according to you, but you wouldn't be satisfied with a locked 30FPS?
It's the same bonuses they had at Gamestop for the original release. It just upgrades each of those by one. Not as big a deal as it sounds."Preorder for easy mode!"
Why would you do that?
Infamous SS is 60fps when you are looking at the sky. Typical gameplay scenarios were much closer to 30fps.
This is nitpicking, but isn't the point of collections such as this to include all the content? Splicing up stuff like skins and Upgrades in the form of pre-order bonuses kinda goes against that.100 Supply Points (XP) for use in Factions mode

Its for the best, it would look weird in 60FPS.
For a game that plays at the pace of TLOU and relies extremely heavily on graphics and environment design, image quality >>> 60fps.
you made it sound like games releasing on a friday was weird, i'm not questioning mod verification.
People whining at $60.
Know ya'll aren't forced to buy it day one, right?
Why the hell would I want this in August? Too many games coming in the fall, nothing in June or July.
No, I wrote that I want the game tomorrow and not on August 8th.
That explains it. But it was pretty darn smooth most of the time.
So among AAA titles...
May: MLB The Show/Watch Dogs
June: Driveclub?
July: GTAV?
August: TLoU
September: Destiny
October: Arkham Knight/Ass Creed
November: The Order?
Not bad.
But its not reality, its entertainment.
I'm not anti 60FPS in general, I just dont think it fits here. Keep it for my shooters and racers, but TLoU is styled to look like a film.
I dont know about you but I hated The Hobbit in 48FPS.
I think these are the same pre-order bonuses than for the PS3 version lol Pretty funny that a HD port has pre-order bonuses to begin with."Preorder for easy mode!"
Why would you do that?
I don't think anyone who doesn't see value in this are any more wrong than those now rushing to add this to their carts.
I think $60 is smart pricing from their perspective, nevertheless. Get PS4 owners who may not have owned a PS3, and I can't imagine the number of folks going to trade their PS3 copy in now for a preorder or PSN card and no doubt Sony and ND expect that.
Hoping for June, but August sounds more realistic to me.
