was just listing some random things that popped into my mind. for some reason, that canon place really sticks out. especially the minigame with the chicken or whatever.

I like TP. I see its shortcomings more and more as I replay it (on my third replay--and I think I'm going to beat it tonight because I really need a break from schoolwork and grading), but I still like it. It has my favourite iteration of Lake Hylia as well. :D

There are parts of it that I don't like at all, however (ex: the intro, the escort mission (that bird with the key towards the middle screws me up for some reason), the synth quality in the music, the barren overworld, etc). But I still enjoyed it mostly because of the dungeon design and the fun bosses.

Regarding the music, I think a lot of it is well-composed. But the synth quality was underwhelming for me. Regardless, I let it go and find a lot of the music very enjoyable based on composition rather than the instrument sample quality. Like Lake Hylia, Faron Woods, Blizzeta, Sacred Grove and Midna in Distress. I thought Zant was pretty cool (ie: the boss theme with everything blended in together) just for its progression into faster-paced maddening melody.

Out of all the characters in TP in the game to forget about, you choose Midna? Midna is probably the best realized character in that game.

The one I honestly want to forget about is Ilia.

I just want to forget that TP existed and play nothing but Wind Waker, Majora's Mask and Link's Awakening. Also the Oracle games, because I haven't gotten halfway through one of them and haven't even touched the other.

Oh, I remember something about Twilight Princess. I named Epona "FuriousD" and then someone told me Epona was a girl.

I'm gonna be honest here: I wasn't a fan of LttP when it first came out. I played the GBA version (and liked it), but it's not in my favorites. :x

Even if the person in question can readily prove that they're a super fan, I would think someone with a Zelda tattoo was a poseur regardless.

That's not even a good Zelda tattoo. It's ruined by Japanese figures and gaudy wings/vines. If you're going to do it, do it right.

Perhaps he was going for a vessel of Light look with the vines, but I agree, not a very appealing tattoo. I'm not a big fan of tattoos period, but that's just me.

I didn't post it because it was great (there are far worse ones though), just as an example. Triforce and / or the insignia are by far the most common.

I'd just get a simple 2D golden Triforce on my left hand, with one of the pieces brighter than the others... probably Courage (lower right, I think.)

But I'll never get a tattoo so... *shrugs*

I've noticed that the Hyrule Crest is popular among those who do get a Zelda tattoo. Or the Triforce. It's probably because the art for those can be subtle or easier to do then character/item art.

I'm afraid of needles, so I'm not getting a tattoo. Plus I think it might look gaudy when I get old. If I did get one, it'd probably be a small 2-D Triforce symbol on my hip, I guess.

I'm getting this on my arm, it's just going to be plain though no special effects and stuff unless i find something that looks cool with it.

I feel the same. I played Twilight Princess twice (once at launch for Wii, another for GC this year), and I don't remember shit.

Well, I did remember a few things:

1. There were definitely some good tunes. I don't think I'd place it above any of the other 3D Zeldas, but still, good stuff. Specifically:

-Hyrule field (at night)
-Gerudo Desert
-Lake Hylia
-Faron Woods
-Queen Rutela
-Ganon's Castle

Kinda sucks that they remix the main Hyrule field theme over and over, but those first two are great regardless. Queen Rutela is a remix of Serenade of Water, so it might be my love of OOT talking. Same with Ganon's castle and LTTP.

2. The dungeons. I remember them being really good... that's it. The first one had monkeys. The second one had iron boots and you could walk on walls. Arbiter's grounds gave you the spinner. The Snow one I didn't even know I was in a dungeon. I loved that. But besides that, not all that memorable. Not that I care. They were fun while I was playing, and that's what matters.

3. Midna. Great character. Pretty much the only character fully developed by the end of the game.

Now besides that... that's pretty much all the positive things I remember from the game. God awful pacing, bad character designs, shitty wolf gameplay/tear collecting... It's definitely near the bottom of my list of Zelda games. Not that that's a bad thing. That's, like, an 8.8 out of 10 at the very worst.

Is your avatar pink (along with a bunch of other ones) to hype Zelda up? I mean, with the thread of "why was LttP Link's hair pink" is that why there's a sudden trend of pink or pink haired avatars?

If this is the reason, I might need to fix up my avatar as well.

Yeah, mirrored Midna [GameCube vs Wii]... but Nintendo "forgot" to mirror all the official artwork :p

We also got a chubbier Midna.
