haha im just giving OK fans a hard time shpankey, no offense meant. all in good fun! believe me i know how it feels to be blown out. except, the 49ers get blown out on a weekly basis, so imagine what you are feeling now multiplied by 14 over the season and that is where i'm at.

to be honest i did expect a better game, but sometimes one thing leads to another and you have a snowball effect

They're playing like they're snake bit. I know they're better than this. That first touchdown was textbook perfect.

I'm hoping someone kicks the secondary in the ass and gets the team back in the game.

Edit:

Also, the tech crew needs to be dragged through a field of glass.

:lol Why does Kelly Clarkson have a bigass Anarchy symbol in the background of her stage?

and who the fuck is singing over her? This is fucking HORRIBLE :lol

uh, wtf is happening to kelly clarkson's performance?? this is fucking terrible. ashlee simpson being there has jinxed her...

oh man, it sounds like two different people singing this otherwise good song...

:lol :lol :lol

another debacle on live tv! she looks pissed.

Yeah, LOL.
Don't know whats going on. Sounds like she is singing over her recorded voice, don't know. WTH! Halftime show suxors. Cant wait to laugh at Ashley Simpson.

That Kelly Clarkson performance was like the worst star performance I've ever seen at a bowl game. :lol :lol :lol I doubt Ashlee will disappoint though and should top her.

omgwtf...:lol :lol :lol

ashlee simpson completes this fucking disaster of a halftime show. whatever the hell she's "singing", it's definitely, bar none, the worst thing i've ever heard.

:lol

Wtf this song is TERRIBLE even by her standards.. jesus. But I didnt know her tits were that big, she needs to let those puppies breathe.

Edit: Bahaha they're booing her! :lol :lol

Hahahaha, that was a very powerful "YOU SUCK" between songs.

The rest of the show is bad enough, but I just can't take the stupid "moshpit" that they had jumping in front of the stage... that just pisses me off more than just about anything.

That last comment took way too long to type; I was too busy cringing from the sound of a someone scraping a cow against a chalkboard

Ashlee Simpson is getting embarassingly booed right now. Stupid booed. It's great watching someone's career crumble before your eyes. :lol BTW, the Trojans are giving it to OK raw tonight. Damn! PEACE.

:lol :lol :lol @ the massive boooing. and major ROFL points credited for ashlee and her liberal use of "UH UH UH UH UH UH".

"UH UH UH U HUHUH UH!!!"

*thrust pelvis*

"UH UH UH UH UH UH!"

:lol

christ...

No doubt, terrible music all the way around, but as bad as Kelly was bellering out her vocals, that country shit Toby Kieth sang is an insult to music.

Damn, that Ashely Simpson performance was the most amateur trash I've ever seen. She was just yelling and blew her voice halfway through the song. DAMN STRAIGHT SHE GOT BOO'D! Fuck that piece of shit performance. You can find better in ANY karaoke bar.

I think that halftime is going to deserve its own thread tomorrow. That was ATROCIOUS.

Oklahoma is getting taken behind the woodshed right now...I feel bad for them. However, the halftime interview with Tuberville was a load of crap. If they're going to ask him the softball question about how HE would settle the (mythical) national championship, they should have at least had the balls to say, "Well, given the weak-sauce performance your team turned in yesterday, don't you agree that Utah would have kicked your ass handily?"

Auburn is thinking about just saying "fuck the BCS" and labeling themselves national champions.

Tommy Tuberville will buy the team all national championship rings and the University is creating a national championship trophy. Signs in the stadium, on shirts, and on the media guides, etc. will read Auburn Tigers: 2005 National Champions

All I know is, Auburn squeaked out a lucky win where they were outplayed and probably should've lost.

USC took OU out to the fucking woodshed, beat the shit out of us, fucked us in the ass, brought our mom, sister and anyone else who said they even knew us, spanked all of us... then shit on all of us, picked us back up by the neck, slapped us around, threw us in the mudd, spit on us, pissed on us, then .... laughed.

USC is #1, they are the sole champs.

period

Congrats to a great USC team. Dare I say the start of a Dynasty (?). Sorry we couldn't give you a better game. :(

When you miss the amount of opportunities that Va Tech missed in that game, you can't just chalk it up to luck.

In any case, yeah this sounds like sour grapes to me. Not willing to admit that maybe some other teams deserved a chance to get into the championship game too...

Rather, the post above seems to me like a backhanded swipe at Auburn. Insinuating that they are inferior because they barely won a game.

There is no undisputed champion... We've got 3 undefeated teams.

there is no sour grapes, on the contrary, that was me recognizing USC's greatness. USC beat the ever lovin shit out of #2!

Auburn barely beat #9 and really shouldn't have won if some very unlucky unatural unlikely things didn't happen (missing short field goal, droppin wide open pass for touchdown etc)

if anything, it sounds more like to me you are the one with sour grapes. Auburn is like Utah. a really good team that happened to be undefeated. they are not however in USC's league. USC showed tonight they are the undisputed champs.

if anything, you should count your blessings that wasn't your team out there getting embarressed tonight. believe me, if I could give you this game and let OU take on VT, i would in a heartbeat. but you would be the one in here apologizing for getting your ass beat down, not me. count your lucky stars. we did you a favor. :lol

I'm not the one who continues to take swipes at a team which won its bowl game.

I'm saying you have sour grapes because you continue to bleat about how this is the "National Championship" game. No acknowledgement at all, that maybe, just maybe, Auburn or Utah would have given USC a better game. That while USC seems like the undisputed #1, perhaps given the performance in the game today, OU might not be the undisputed #2.

Of course, as you say USC probably would have beaten Auburn. But, the team Auburn beat, VT, played USC much closer than OU did. While that game was in the beginning of the year and there are dangers in applying transitive scores, it's still the best barometer we got as to how a USC-Auburn game would have gone. By that measure, it seems like an Auburn-USC game would have been much closer.

Utah vs. USC could also be a very competitive game. Utah did not play a close game all season...

According to shpankey, when VT makes bad plays, that's just bad luck. When Auburn does it, they're just being 'outplayed'. :P If VT was really outplaying Auburn, I don't want to see them on a bad day.

As for Auburn being the national champion, unless some game is arranged with USC and they beat them, they shouldn't be considered that at all. Seems like Auburn is just being soreheads. Utah could be considered the national champion as well, not just Auburn as far as teams that didn't get a chance to play in the big game that probably should have.

But one thing is perfectly clear, USC is the champion over Oklahoma. :P I don't think I've ever seen a team dominate another so completely in such a big game. OU is playing like a I-AA team in comparison to USC.

USC has dominated in their bowl games two straight years. They are loaded and have a great defensive scheme and offensive scheme. I don't think there is much debate about who is #1.

they've definately got a dynasty in the making, especially if Leinart sticks around for one more year. Pete Carrol's not got 2 national championships in his first 4 years as Trojan coach (and 3 straight BCS Bowl wins). Hope he sticks around though. College football needs more coaches that stay with a program for a long, long time instead of moving around, going to the pros and shit. Can't imagine Norm Chow is gonna be there much longer though.

Really fun season. I can't believe that USC fared this well after losing Mike Williams and all of the crazy shit that happened with the team in the offseason.

If I were going to pick a 'Plus One' game, I'd put USC up against Utah. I'd love to see that crazy offense that Urban Meyer runs, up against USC's defense. You really need one of those offensive gurus to take on USC. That's why coaches like Tedford have such success against USC, while conventional 'line it up and run the plays' teams like Oklahoma or Michigan from last year get beat. You need to scheme some shit up. USC / Utah or even USC / Auburn would have been really cool match-ups. Louisville too, really.

Good year in college football, all around. Lots of really fun stories (the whole Utah Experience, the wacky Notre Dame coaching situation), great games... cool season. It's going to be a long wait until next year.

P.S. Our regular season > Texas' regular season. Proven. Indisputable fact.

:lol

based on what? USC being better than OU? The 4th ranked team (out of 6, one of which is BAYLOR) in the Big 12 South just took it to you, I wouldnt try to talk any sort of vicarious smack through USC. Despite the fact that three of the Big 12 South teams laid big fucking eggs in the bowl games doesnt put them on the same level as oh, I dont know UCLA.

and even if your regular season was better than ours..

Our post season >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Cal's.

I would put OU above Texas since we beat them. But otherwise I agree. Although I think there's a big huge gap between USC and everyone else. HUGE.
