If one of the enemies was behind cover I'd switch to shooting at someone who was in the open rather than waiting for them to come out of cover. I'm curious as to the creative ways that people have found to use the special ability you get from
after you become good friends with him. Namely the ability to

I've found one mission where it's very useful, Pest Control. That's the one where [big plot spoiler!!!!]

you have to kill Ray Boccino. If you rig a car with a bomb before you begin the car chase, then as soon as the chase begins you can take a shortcut to the petrol station, park your rigged car (preferably a large one like an SUV) right in the middle of the bowsers, and detonate it as the two cars are driving past it. Between the initial explosion, the two other cars exploding, and all of the petrol bowsers exploding, it makes for one hell of a show. I like to watch from behind the concrete median strip nearby while crouched down (presumably so that Ray doesn't see me!)

heh - thats a good idea. The way I did that was mission was just by driving ahead too up the alley next to the station and standing behind a fence and sniped him through the windshield.
I actually unlocked that ability from Packie and completely forgot about it - never used it:lol
Like I said a few posts up I really want the DLC now. I dont want to leave the world but Ive literally wrung the game dry.... every SP achievement plus over 100hrs.

So now I have to buy ammo, get to Jacob and then do the whole two first (easy but boring parts) just to take another shot on getting on a freaking boat for another scripted action scene where I must do exactly as R* intended or face dire consequences. Why does this game hate me as a player?!
(EDIT) And those scripted parts are the worst. R* fails at game design by constantly breaking their own rules.

So who here is still playing the game with no real goals left? I found this spot that allows for a good hour of fun.
Go to yellow dot in Bohan and you'll find the sidewalk is dug up at that intersection. You can walk into peds to push them into the pit and they can't escape. I filled it with like 20 peds and went to the roof of the nearest building and threw in a grenade. The peds flew so high in the air, one flew over a building.
Easily the most fun I've had while accomplishing absolutely nothing.

The ship moves EXTREMELY slow, but the horn makes up for it : D. You have to drive on a small boat next to it and then jump on top or else you wont reach it. Walking to the top takes some time since its so big! XD

I choosed the money way, and the end was pretty SAD. SAD. C'mon, roman dieing? Wheres my cousing?

Is anyone else having a hard time finishing this game? I was completely sold on the pre-gtaiv hype and I really do like the game, its just I cant manage to keep interest when I play it therefore I have not finished it yet.

I can start to see the story slowly drift away from it's great beginning. A lot of the tasks seem random and pointless. I'm definitely still enjoying it, and I was kinda expecting this to happen to the story(as it has in every previous GTA game), but I was hoping this one would be different - seeing as it had A LOT of potential, and still does at this point. Hopefully it gets better. We'll see.
Recently my new favorite thing to do when messing around is to take motorcycles into the 2 skateparks in Algonquin. I'm glad you can actually do backflips & frontflips in this one. Too bad there's no BMX bike or skateboard though =/
killed Playboy X. I didn't really want to kill Dwayne or Playboy, but I felt Playboy deserved it more than Dwayne. I'm glad I got a safehouse out of it at least.

I'm chasing Peregrino as he's on a boat and I'm on a bike... I've attempted this 3 times, and it's very unclear what the goal is here. It says to accelerate off the jetty to jump. So, the first time I do it, I go flying way in front of him, bike destroyed, mission failed. The second time I do it I wait a little while and jump. That time, I hit the water a ways behind him, bike destroyed, mission failed. Third time I try it: I do it at about the same point as the second one, but this time Nico goes into a flip on the bike, but I still hit the water behind him and it's mission failed. What the hell is supposed to happen here? I don't want to try again if I don't know what I'm doing, because even though you don't do the highway chase, shooting through all the thugs is tedious. Help?
