I Hate you both dammit, but you forcd me into re-buying a new XBox360 Premium pack because of this damn stupid thread and stupid game.

Yeah me....the biggest hater of MS in this thread, have re-purchased a 360

last time i had a 360 was at release of dead rising, so could anyone let me know what i can buy whilst the next 2 weeks go by? as i will finish Metroid 3 by Monday so will need some more goodies to play.!

I am -so- glad the helmet is big(ger) than I had anticipated. I seriously won't be tempted to put it on my cats head. thanks to the innards. I think she needs the Battletoads disguise like my avatar, anyway.

Bioshock should be good. Get the crackdown demo and see if you like it, then buy either that and/or Gears. But Bioshock (and marketplace content) should hold you over till Halo 3.

Oooh I have a question which I'd like as vague an answer as possible for as to avoid spoilers...

...is there an acheivement for playing the LIVE co-op campaign on Legendary?

I can see that getting a lot of mileage, moreso than Rainbow Six Vegas, which is possibly the most cackhanded attempt at a co-op online campaign ever >:(

No co-op achievements. In fact, the achievements were released well before co-op was even confirmed.

I'm taking a different approach. Trying to spend as much time with my girl to somehow offset the insane amount of hours that will be put into this phenomena. 360 has not been on since I 1000'd bioshock. :D

Gosh, I don't think I'm going to be able to finish Legendary on my own... I hope the acheivement unlocks regardless.

You bet your ass either I or ButtonBasher will, then I will make variants like Brimley Ball. Whoever has the ball has the beetus.
 
I don't know how technically possible or impossible this could be, but it would be awesome if in Forge you could import a picture from your hard drive onto the map.

You could create a Banner or Flag with your team's logo/picture on it.

It would be cool if you ran into the other team's base and see their team logo hanging on the wall, or their logo on their flag.

For the same reason custom avatars are disabled on B.net, unfortunately I can't see the game being open to such a feature. It can easily be abused.

I guess it'd be possible to set something up where images can be sent to be verified, but, ofcourse, that requires human input. Someone (or a small team) would have to take on the responsibility.

The same team that approves clan names?

You would only see the artwork of your friends teams since they are created in Forge. They would be custom games, not matchmaking.

If Bungie wanted to do some form of tournament, then they could have the Logos or Banners approved.

The thing is, we do honestly try to lay down some rules about noise at the beginning of each event, but it never pans out, because capturing the flag is like fireworks in your heart.

I agree snack, the art has really improved past the "3 panels of slightly moving mouths" of the early comics.

Looks 90% real to me, seems to fit in with the previous ones, and looks like its being rendered in the Halo 3 engine (has the real time reflections on both armour and visor etc)

As others have said, great post, even from a "Oh wow look how far PA has come" perspective. Although the one with the giant controllers gets me every time :lol
