I believe the Premiums w/ HDMI state that they are HDMI compatible on the box itself.

Thanks, I didn't think those were new. Not too interested in the new stuff honestly, I guess I'll just pick up the "3" logo poster or something.

I wish they would sell some of the cooler artwork as posters... (hint hint bungie guys)....

it says it on the side of the box if you are buying retail. if you are buying online, amazon has a dedicated page for premium HDMI:

I would still kill for a Bungie Shot glass or maybe even a set. One for like each series they have made which they still have.

Just got confirmed that we have spring break during the week of the Halo 3 Australian(worldwide) release. I'm all set now.
 
thoughtful of bungie to model their t-shirt on a mannequin with gynecomastia -- they're all about community and inclusion, and men with bitchtits love halo too

That vid just further cemented my love of Sandtrap.

Gravity Hammer meets Brute Chopper, rider goes for a nice flight - while still in the Chopper. :lol

The Hammer changes the dynamic of just running some guy over - gonna have to watch out for that baby strapped to their back.

Dunno, I though the Chopper going flying from the Grav Hammer deserved at least one, just for the implications. :D

The GT list on the Online forum is updated as of right now. Don't forget, if you were on the list from the Beta head over and toss in your timezone, as I'm grouping everyone by timezone now so folks can coordinate better. Still nearly 200 GAFers in the big pool that's unorganized.
 
So how many people are going to buy one of those new McFarlane figures? They look good but kinda expensive, and I think its bordering on obsessive too. Still, I guess one nice MC figure isnt too bad.
 
LMAO, I closed that vid after about 10 seconds, then I read his OMG at the end bit, and went to the end and saw nothing worth noting. :lol :P

They are high-quality, but small and aimed at a mass-market price point. Here's a bit from an interview he did with Bungie a few months back:

Q: These figures are 4-6” tall, these are a bit smaller than Halo fans were used to with our previous toymaker. How did you guys select the sizes for the figures?

TM: Here’s what ends up happening: You’ve got two mainstreams that you can distribute toys through: Mass outlets and for lack of a better word, non-mass. The non-mass is easy; we’ve got that one locked down pretty well.

Over the last six to seven years, some companies that would’ve taken a decent amount of Halo product have changed and amalgamated, and the strong business of doing higher-end, specialty stuff isn’t there. Your next option is to try and sell a couple of those items at mass [market], but you’ll take a loss. So we, as toymakers have to find a balance.

We’ll end up making a wide variety of sizes and prices, but out of the chute we need to make it appeal to a 12-year-old newbie and 25-year-old player alike.

I'm pretty sure I'll spring for one of those $99 figures, I'm a whore like that. I'll definitely be scooping up all of the McFarlane shit, I have so many of his sports figures littered around my house, awesome detail on his stuff.

Right, thanks guys. Well my initial post was in relation to 99.99 figures. Despite what I said I wouldn't mind picking one up - it seems like the definitive Halo figure. The one figure to rule them all perhaps?
 
Those MacFarlane figures are really all I've ever wanted. The details are amazing and these are just prototypes!

Oh man, it's only five days until I get to play this game. The wait is horrible...

psssssst, you know what version i'm getting? the regular version. why? because 60 dollars is still a god damn ripoff for a game, and i hate having to open god damn tin cases everytime i want to play a game. the regular version is much more convenient.

the hardcore halo fan that i am, i should probably be buying every version, or at least the Limited Edition and Regular versions, but thats just foolish.

I'll only really open that tin once a month or so! Halo3 will prolly sit in my 360 99% of the time. :lol

Wow. The level of detail in each figurine is absolutely astonishing, McFarlene did an incredible job one each of 'em.

Just picked up the Halo 3 wireless headset. While we were there my wife picked me up the last set of Halo 3 kubricks they had :). It's charging now, I'll check it out after and post impressions. Any Halo 2 games going on tonight or anything?
