I played Snails on Palm OS back in the day. It was a very competent Worms clone. I'll have to check out the iPhone version.

I certainly will. Honestly, Pandora on my iPod was enough to seal the deal.JSnake said:Enjoy it! It's an awesome little thing.

Flunkie said:I got a free promo code for Spore Origins yesterday and while I hated the lite edition of Spore Origins, I can't freaking put down the full game. As you progress through the game you unlock more parts and upgrades as you get harder enemies, bosses, and levels. Upgrading and changing my little creature is so addicting. This is my character as of a couple hours ago (he looks even different now, he's got defense scales, a teethier mouth, and an electrocuting pod that comes out of his butt!):

I just cannot recommend Brothers in Arms: Hour of Heroes to you, especially when it comes in at ten dollars. There is a good game in here, but the awful controls (except for the tank) just crush any chance of really getting at it. At no point does it feel natural or comfortable, leading to some unfortunate bumbling, especially when you try to throw grenades, which adds accelerometer functionality while you struggle with the touch controls. Your download dollars are better spent elsewhere.

Rating Description

8.5 Presentation
As always, Gameloft shoots for the moon with high production values.
8.0 Graphics
Excellent character and vehicle models. Great colors.
8.0 Sound
Fantastic soundtrack and sound effects.
5.0 Gameplay
Clumsy control schemes deflate the game. You are in a near constant struggle with the controls.
6.0 Lasting Appeal
You may try to fight the controls just to see what's next. That's understandable. But it's not worth the frustration.
6.0
Passable OVERALL

Thanks for saving my lazy self who couldn't look it up some money. After getting Bioshock for $5 during the holiday steam deal, I'm starting to hold iphone games to higher standards--thus my anger at buying snails on a whim due to flunkie. asshole, that game is NOT fun! :lolStoney Mason said:

I just wish shooting wasn't autofire and you didn't have to start the game from the beginning if you get a game over. Otherwise it's really great.

free if not already updated and yes to online mp (for some stuff, just look around the app store)Fantastical said:When I get a new iPod Touch, I don't have to upgrade to 2.x firmware do I? I mean, I don't have to pay for it... right?
Also, are there online multiplayer games?
Thanks. I've been looking around and I'm having trouble finding online MP games. Are there any fun games with it?MaritalWheat said:free if not already updated and yes to online mp (for some stuff, just look around the app store)

Don't you ever bring logic into the conversation when there's Peggle at stake!Jonnyram said:I'm not entirely sure how well Peggle would work on an iPhone. There's a lot of accuracy at stake.
I thought about this too, but... they'll make it work. They have to. It's Peggle!DevelopmentArrested said:stupid question but how do I access the Canadian store exactly? I live in Canada but it won't let me fucking select Canada or change to its store in Itunes.
I actually have been playing it more since I posted that and its been growing on me. Guess the leap in polish from Rolando (my last actual purchase) to this threw me off at first. Opinion validated, you have been reinstated as trustworthy in igaming taste.Flunkie said:OH COME ON! Are you serious? It's a blast.
Okay, I guess nostalgia kind of clouded my vision.
