Ugh...I would buy so many more games if Apple removed the 10MB download limit. Ridiculous.

I need app recommendations under 10MB so I can pass away the time at work! Halp!

Pretty sure the 10MB limit over 3G is because of AT&T, not Apple.

Jailbreak and get 3G Unrestrictor from Cydia..

It's the same case with Rogers/Fido in Canada. Getting a game under the 10MB limit to attract the impulse buyers is proving somewhat of a challenge.

Found my awesome <10MB app.

RogueTouch. Definitely the most accessible Roguelike I've played so far. It's not too hard so far (4 floors down).

This game looks pretty good. Is it worth it?

I have only played 2 races but I think it is worth it, fun so far, controls work great.

How is Metal Gear Solid Touch?
Is there any story with the game? Or shooting gallery throughout?

I am on the first act still but my impressions are yes it's a shooting gallery throughout (so far) and there is a little story.

If you are an MGS fan I think it is worth it for $2.99 but no the full price.

I've been out of the app loop for about a month (last game bought was iDigIt) and I've got a dollar left in my account.

What's good and only a dollar that's come out recently?

Maybe Doom.

Well they've pretty much annouced they are bringing over everything that makes sense technology wise on the iphone so unless he is announcing a release date, there isn't really a lot to announce that we don't know.

It really says 2.99 in the search page, but not in the game page yet though.
I guess sale upcoming. ;)

Many costly games are dropping to this price point... MGS, Doom, Star Defense etc... which to get?

Awesome!

Also, Wolfenstein 3d Classic is only 99 cents? Is this part of the sale also? Im' buying both, and Wolf RPG today!!

So glad I held off on Resurrection. It looks fun, but I find for me $5 seems to be my cutoff. Any higher and I feel buyer's remorse and perhaps unrealistic expectations.

Damn I will probably have to get Doom for that price, anyone have it? What do you think of it?

The consensus seemed to be that it was a fun rail shooter, but questionable value at $10. But for only $3, seems like an insta-buy. And Wolf Classic at $1 is also a no-brainer, IMO.

Oh shit, Doom is on sale? I have to think about this, I think I want it.

If Konami did the sale forever ago when they announced it I would have gotten MGS and DDR, but I'm over it now.

just tuned into quakecon and they've announced the pricecuts for wolf 3d and doom res and they'll last untill quake con is over

Not sure if it's been posted but Worms got a significant update

- The option to change graphical settings for increased performance in game
- More responsive camera controls, including the ability to make the camera zoom further in for a closer look at the action.
- The ability to flip the game screen based on the orientation of your device
- Improved Ninja Rope Controls allowing even more death-defying rope stunts
- The ability to unleash devastating weapons on your enemies from the safety of a parachute
- Shorter AI enemy thinkig times
- Highly improved back-flip and jump controls including a new finger swipe method to make sure you never accidentally jump worms into the water again
- The facility to customize the game even further by creating your own enemy teams.
- Plus a whole bunch of improvements to touch responsiveness and performance across all devices.

I see Duke 3D is on sale for $2.99, not sure if it's always been that price.

I'm tempted to buy if there is in fact an update coming to fix the issues.

Your option. Personally I'm not a fan of rewarding a dev for putting out a broken game so I would wait myself until they follow through.

So basically it's the functionality the first version I bought should have had. :P

In other news, I'm loving CivRev and very close to pulling the trigger on Spider and Orbital.

Also, Gomi is great. Incredibly charming and packed full of content. I like it way more than Rolando, Loco Roco, and it has the satisfaction of rolling things up like Katamari.

I don't think I'm sold on Wolf RPG. Is it really that good?

I'm playing through it right now. I find Wolf RPG to be pretty boring.

I think it depends on what you're expecting. I think its quite good but I knew what it was going in.
