But I refuse to jailbreak as it's important we support these developers. Thinking of making an app of my own sometime soon.
NOVA is definitely the best FPS I've played on the iPhone, and it even has online multiplayer versus too (even though it kinda sucks). And Gameloft just came out with a racing game that's supposed to be aces, so either that one or Real Racing I'd imagine.nib95 said:And is NOVA worth it? What about the best racing game?

It will suck your life away. Beware.mrkgoo said:Plants vs. Zombies is out!....
....for NZ.
Downloading now. So excited - I haven't played it before, but it looks cool.

Well, we'll always still have Pigs Vs Wolves...

lucky kiwi bastards. yet another reason to move there...mrkgoo said:It's not just you. New Zealand is the first country in the world to see a new day, so a release that is scheduled for the 15th will release now.
Fuck this developer. I will never buy another game they put out.Benedict said:California Gold Rush 2 has been released at $2.99.
I am very confused on what I should do...
I loved the first game... until they patched it, removed my save and added in-app DLC that used to be free before the patch. For which Digital Chocolate should be banned by the pope for.
But...
sob.

Of PvZ? Be ashamed man, it was legitimately one of the best games of last year, and that's being honest. Download and enjoy! Honestly, I need an iTunes card, stat. I really want to throw some money Popcap's way for that masterpiece.the_painted_bird said:Played the flash demo and was impressed... GAF hype prevails

I buy a game, they remove content from the game after I buy it, then fuck up my saved game while doing so?
Hell no, never doing that shit again.
Only a big deal because I don't particularly want to play through the main game again, it doesn't have the same replayability that Peggle has. I think that the mini games and puzzles help a lot.Tobor said:It's $3. Is it really that big of a deal that they cut some modes out of a $20 game to sell it for $3?
They could add the modes in later as paid DLC and it's still a great deal.
Game coverage in general seems to be full of cock sucking, may just be worse with the iPhone cause the review sites are pretty young and are afraid of pissing off the bigger publishers.Benedict said:Has anybody from the gaming press or a blogger talked to them and gotten the "story" behind it?
I'm surprised how the little coverage this stunt they pulled have gotten.
Please post some links if you know of any websites that have brought this up.
Or is the iPhone-game coverage really as biased as I think they are, with no option for critizing developers and publishers?
Set to arrive in the App Store sometime next month, Street Fighter IV is no quick port, hastily tossed at the iPhone in the name of getting a mobile version out on the streets. Capcom has apparently taken the iPhone conversion of their brawler quite seriously. They've spent months perfecting the on-screen virtual control systems, alone, realizing that the game demands highly precise controls for true mastery. And, despite the iPhone's diminutive screen, visual assets have been taken directly from the existing, high-resolution games. The character models are reportedly the same as in the other versions, only slightly scaled down, and with little color or detail loss, to speak of.

Get Angry Birds and Swords & Poker... both are recent games I learned about from GAF and put a lot of time into each. Not sure the price now, but I got both for $0.99.xbhaskarx said:There are just too many games to keep up, is there a list of GAF-recommended games?

VOOK said:Not getting the Plants V Zombie love, seems like a pretty generic (yet stylish) TD game. What am I missing?
